In Brief:
- Ronin featured RRF Village, short for Ronke Rice Farmer Village, in its Indie Game Spotlight series on X.
- Played in the browser on Ronin, the pixel farming game mixes farming and fishing with a daily treasure dig and raids on nearby farms.
- The game is still being tested, and the team admits players in batches that it announces on Discord.
RRF Village is the latest pick for Ronin’s Indie Game Spotlight. The post sends players toward a browser farming game that’s still opening its doors one batch at a time.
The Ronin account’s post links to rrfvillage.xyz and pitches the game this way: “Grow crops, fish, hunt for treasure, raid your neighbors, and socialize with other players.”

On its website, the game describes itself as “A cozy farming world on Ronin” and “A pixel farming game you play in your browser, on Ronin.” Not everyone can play yet. “We’re opening the gate in batches while we test,” according to the site.
How to get in
Getting access is a three-step process. First, players request a seat by connecting a Ronin wallet. Next, they join the project’s Discord, which is where new batches get announced. After approval, they can play in the browser.
It’s free to sign “Mr. Ronke’s guest book” at the gate. There’s a separate path for creators, too: “Creators get their own seat: apply on the village gate’s CREATORS tab,” the site said.
Six activities
Six activities are listed on the site. The home farm is where players can “Plant ten crops, raise cows, pigs, chickens and bees, and craft in the windmill.”
Ronke Village handles the social side. According to the site, players “Fly the balloon to the village. Walk, chat and emote with other farmers, live.”
At the pond, there are six fish species to catch. The site calls them “Six funny fish to collect, from Sir Flopsalot to Moby Chonk.”
The daily dig is called Buried Harvest, where players “Dig a fresh plot every day for treasure and rare finds, and race for weekly gold prizes.” No prize amounts are listed on the site.
Player-versus-player raids come through Clash of Neighbors: “Build an army, raid your neighbors’ farms and climb the trophy ranks.” The last entry is an arcade and market, where players can “Play the arcade cabinets, trade with farmers at the market and fill daily orders.”
There’s nothing on the current site about a token or NFTs, and it names no team members and gives no full launch date.
Rooted in RONKE
The RRF in the name stands for Ronke Rice Farmer. The game grew out of the community around the $RONKE memecoin on Ronin. In the project’s first game, players competed to collect the most $RICE over a 69.69-day farming period, spending $RONKE and $RICE to build farms, hire farmers and raise their $RICE output.
Promotional posts for that first version mentioned NFT boosts and a “jeet jail for paperhands” that shut out players who sold early. According to Ronkeverse.com, the yield farming mechanics in RRF included systematic token burns.
The @RRFVillage account announced on July 21, 2025 that $RICE was live on Katana in a pair with $RONKE, and said the game would launch 12 hours after that. On July 24, 2025, the team said players could access the game but the Rice Pool wasn’t active yet. It added that the game wouldn’t emit $RICE tokens until bugs and other issues had been fixed.
In September of that year, the team released a Genesis Land NFT litepaper. It laid out the utility, holder benefits and long-term plans for Genesis Land in Ronke Rice Farmer Village.
Ronke Rice Farmer 2.0 is now listed as coming soon on Ronkeverse.com, with this description: “The farm is being replanted. New fields, new yields, same monke.”
