Singapore-based web3 game company Saakuru Labs and meme coin community platform MemeCore have launched a $10 million incubation fund to boost blockchain gaming.
The joint initiative, supported by $10 million in initial funding, will invest in and acquire communities and games to integrate them into the Saakuru and MemeCore ecosystems.
This move will enhance Saakuru’s gaming-centered L2 blockchain and drive activity to MemeCore’s L1 blockchain, ultimately increasing their total value locked.
The $10 million fund will primarily support game projects currently in development. In addition to financial grants, these projects will receive technical and strategic support to help them thrive in the competitive blockchain gaming landscape.
Jack Vinijtrongjit, co-founder and CEO of Saakuru Labs, expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration with MemeCore, stating, “We have built a strong reputation in the blockchain gaming industry, and this partnership with MemeCore allows us to accelerate the development of new gaming projects. With this collaboration, we’re able to offer more resources to top-tier game developers and further strengthen both ecosystems.”
