Token Generation Event confirmed
A major centralized exchange will host the SLCW Token Generation Event (TGE) on August 25, 2026, Shard Legends: Clan Wars has confirmed. The studio shared the news on August 14, framing the TGE as a major milestone following months of Wildlands battles and mining challenges.
Which exchange is involved is still under wraps, with strict NDA compliance cited as the reason. The partner and the exact listing schedule are due to be unveiled on August 24, one day before the TGE. In a follow-up on August 16, the studio noted the listing would span both August 25 and 26, with an explanation for the two-day window still to come.
Gameplay expansions before token launch
The studio has lined up 11 days of gameplay expansions in the run-up to the TGE. Tactical combat gets a new outlet through a fresh PvP event, and Personal Islands introduce harvesting of rare ingredients for added depth. Player hierarchies will be formalized by a Titles System, and long-term participants have special rewards coming their way.
Anyone active across this stretch stands to see their account value and standing improve before the token goes live, leaving them in a stronger position at the TGE than latecomers.
Evolving tokenomics
Getting the token to launch has taken longer than planned. August 5 was the original date, but it slipped as the mining season ran from June 8 to August 4, 2026. Quest completions earned players points, which were converted into Imperial Tickets for token distribution — a structure that rewarded consistent participation.
Players sit at the center of the tokenomics: 83% of the total supply is set aside for distribution, and a Dynamic Hard Cap is in place to keep sell pressure in check. Of every token spent in-game, half is burned and half flows into the seasonal Clan Prize Pool.
Total supply stands at 200,000,000 SLCW, with roughly 10% circulating at TGE. Community incentives make up 35%, backed by a structured vesting schedule and multi-chain deployment across BNB Chain and Solana.
Game mechanics and economy
Shard Legends: Clan Wars mixes auto battler mechanics with MMORPG elements on Solana and TON. NPC merchants are absent from its player-driven economy, which instead pushes player-to-player trade through a three-tier marketplace made up of a Black Market, an Equipment Market, and a Value Auction.
Player-controlled Sovereign Citadels handle governance, opening up political roles that carry real economic weight. Players can either climb the social ladder or submit to taxation imposed by city leaders.
The progression system spans 13 professions split across four guilds, while combat turns on predicting an opponent’s moves across three target zones. Both PvE and PvP modes are available, and recent additions such as Arena PvP have driven average revenue per paying user up 667.5% to $43.12.
On PlayToEarn, Shard Legends: Clan Wars currently sits in 14th place, with its score climbing 16.90% to 1,266.
