In Brief:
- SolFarmer (official site) has kicked off Expedition Season 3 carrying a 35 SOL prize pool — the largest sum it has ever attached to an Expedition season.
- Every Camp standing was zeroed out as the season began, meaning any lead earned in previous seasons no longer counts.
- The Camp is the title’s most recent progression and competition layer; its debut PvP season back in late July ran with a 20 SOL pot.
Expedition Season 3 is now live in SolFarmer, backed by a 35 SOL prize pool and a full wipe of the Camp standings for every participant.
No previous Expedition season has carried a pool this size. “Our biggest Expedition pool yet,” SolFarmer said in the announcement.
EXPEDITION SEASON 3 STARTS TONIGHT!
And we're raising the stakes.
35 SOL PRIZE POOL
Our biggest Expedition pool yet.
The Camp standings reset.
No veteran advantage.
No locked-in leaders.
Everyone starts the new Season with another shot at the top.

According to SolFarmer, the season goes live on the very night the post went out.
Nobody keeps a lead
That reset is the second pillar of the pitch. Anyone who wrapped up an earlier season sitting at the top of the Camp standings now enters Season 3 on the same footing as the rest of the field.
“No veteran advantage. No locked-in leaders. Everyone starts the new Season with another shot at the top,” SolFarmer said.
The studio added that the season is “raising the stakes.”
What the Camp is
Running parallel to the underground mine, the Camp serves as a second track of progression. Players bring on Farmers, dispatch them on expeditions, collect Legendary and Cosmic gear, and open up new Miners to use on the mining side of things.
Seven zones host these expeditions — among them crystal forests, lava pits, icy peaks and deep abysses. Every run brings back both loot and lore, with a slim chance of running into a Boss. Take three pieces of gear to the Forge and they can be crafted into mythic versions.
Crafting materials and blueprint fragments also come out of expeditions, and progressing through the Camp is one of the ways to obtain rare rigs without going through the shop.
The other season
SolFarmer’s competitive Camp layer has only existed for roughly a month. Late July saw Camp PvP Season 1 go live, with a 20 SOL reward pot divided among three leagues and resets landing every two weeks.
All players entering that mode begin at 1,000 League Points. Combat is handled by a server-authoritative engine, points shift according to an Elo-based system, and Bronze, Silver and Gold tiers are earned purely through performance.
A plus or minus 15% power window limits matchmaking, while a 12-hour cooldown prevents players from facing the same opponent repeatedly. Closing out a Camp PvP season resets League Points, though equipment and progression stay put. Payouts are settled in SOL.
Ahead of that launch, the studio had finished a full server migration. SolFarmer also revived its bug bounty program at that point, offering as much as 1 SOL for verified reports.
Where the SOL comes from
SOL flows through more than just prize pools. Weekly distributions go out based on League tier, guilds put stakes into 24-hour hashrate battles competing for shared pots subject to a 5% rake, and each of eight mini-games can be played once per day for SOL prizes.
There’s also a free daily chest spanning Bronze and Silver up through Gold and Cosmic, which yields either SOL or a boost to hashrate.
No native token exists for the game. SOL is what players receive, payouts land on-chain where they can be verified on Solscan, and nothing needs to be swapped along the way. A daily withdrawal ceiling of 50 SOL applies.
The game runs free to play in a browser. Looking ahead, its roadmap flags additional game modes, broader seasonal content, a richer in-game economy, upgraded expedition systems and fresh social mechanics.
