In Brief:
- SolFarmer (official site) has introduced Mining Pools to the Crypto Depths, a progression track that sits next to rig upgrades.
- Pool tiers rise as a player’s total earnings grow, and each higher tier gets a bigger share of Pool rewards.
- According to SolFarmer’s site, pools draw their payouts from a weekly SOL distribution that is divided by league tier.
Mining Pools are now open in the Crypto Depths, the underground setting where SolFarmer’s mining happens. The idle mining game now has a second progression track, separate from the upgrade path players already work through.
SolFarmer announced the feature on X with the headline “POOL PARTY: CAVERNS CONNECTED.”

How the tiers work
The loop has three steps. Players keep mining, push up their total earnings and move into the next Pool tier. In its post, the team said every tier gained comes with a larger share of Pool rewards.
The game’s website gives the same summary: “Join a pool, contribute hashrate, climb league tiers, share the weekly SOL distribution.”
Pool rewards are paid in SOL, not in a token of SolFarmer’s own.
The site also lists pool and prestige leaderboards, each with weekly prizes.
Where pools fit
Pools join SolFarmer’s existing side modes: Guild Wars, Camp Expeditions, Research Lab upgrades, Daily Arcade mini-games, Lucky Box rewards, marketplace trading, daily story quests and a seven-day streak reward.
Guild Wars is the most similar. In that mode, guilds challenge rival guilds to 24-hour hashrate battles with SOL wagers and live scoring.
Pools take a different approach. Players don’t compete head to head. Each player adds hashrate to a shared pool, and payouts are based on tier.
The game behind it
SolFarmer is played in the browser and needs no install. New accounts are free and start with a basic miner. Players only need a Solana wallet when they want to withdraw earnings.
The mining happens only inside the game. Players run a virtual extraction operation in the mine and don’t mine any real cryptocurrency.
Miners can be merged into stronger versions across four rarity tiers: Common, Rare, Epic and Legendary. The official site lists more than 60 collectible rigs.
The game is free to play and still in alpha.
Earnings start small
SolFarmer is open about how little new players earn at first. Its site says the starter miner alone brings in “typically fractions of a cent per day.” Bigger payouts come from building up a rig setup and playing regularly.
Pools add to that same climb. The studio summed it up in four lines: “Keep mining. Increase your total earnings. Reach the next Pool tier.”
