In Brief:
- Sunflower Land has introduced an in-game roadmap that gives players a preview of the chapters lined up all the way through 2028.
- The farming title releases a fresh chapter once every three months and has pushed out over 1,871 updates since it went live in February 2023.
- Ronin spotlighted the feature as Sunflower Land (official site) strengthens its footprint on the network in the wake of the FLOWER token debut.
Sunflower Land has moved its release schedule inside the game itself. The studio rolled out an in-game roadmap laying out the chapters mapped through 2028, so players can see what lies ahead directly rather than chasing announcements elsewhere.
Ronin highlighted the update in a post. “Building never stops,” the network wrote, noting there’s “Plenty more to look forward to.”

How the chapters work
Sunflower Land is built around a chapter system. Roughly every three months the team delivers a new chapter packed with fresh mechanics, currencies and content, a rhythm designed to stop the world from feeling stale.
That routine has stuck since day one. Chapter 1: Solar Flare launched in February 2023, bringing auctions and the beach. Chapter 8 delivered cows, sheep and crafting in November 2024. Chapter 9: Winds of Change introduced seasons, weather and volcano content in February 2025, while Chapter 10: The Great Bloom brought the FLOWER currency and Love Island in May 2025.
Chapter 11 arrived in August 2025, layering in a social system and co-op farming. The new roadmap carries that lineage forward, charting the chapters players can look forward to across the next couple of years and beyond.
A steady build
Volume is where the team puts its weight. Sunflower Land has released more than 1,871 updates since launch, and it builds in the open with a community of over 112 contributors.
The game debuted on Polygon and has since expanded across chains. Sunflower Land connected with Ronin on Feb. 24, airdropping 50,000 NFTs to Ronin players, and subsequently rolled out FLOWER, an ERC-20 token that acts as the game’s core currency, on the network.
FLOWER is built to operate across multiple chains. According to the team, reaching several networks is how it plans to grow its audience, letting one game connect a range of blockchain communities.
What’s still ahead
The roadmap accompanies a broader list of features the team has pledged to deliver. Upcoming additions include pets, swamps, insects, more blockchains, fishing improvements and an overhaul of factions.
A second game is also on the way. During 2026 the team intends to release Project II, a fresh title in a new genre for the FLOWER ecosystem. Pitched as a browser-based clicker centered on trading and player ownership, the studio says it will be shaped by community feedback from the outset, covering both mechanics and token design.
Sunflower Land remains the flagship. The team has stated the farming game continues to be its central focus and the principal source of FLOWER, where players earn the token to spend throughout the wider ecosystem.
To handle the parallel projects, the studio has expanded, bringing on engineers in 2025 with additional design, art and development roles on the way. It has remained independent, steering clear of venture capital to hold on to control over the very roadmap it has now placed in players’ hands.
