As far as I remember, Gala Games did something similar back in November. It started accepting credit card payments for Gala Gold Lifetime Upgrades, focusing on seamlessly onboarding Web2 gamers into Web3.
A few hours ago on Nov. 14, the leading EVM-compatible wallet, MetaMask announced that it integrated PayPal payment methods, allowing U.S. users to buy Ethereum directly from MetaMask’s mobile app.
This feature will only be available for U.S. users through the mobile application, as Metamask plans to release this feature on the browser in the upcoming weeks.
Metamask Product Manager Lorenzo Santos said to Decrypt that this new feature will make it easier for users to venture further into Web3.
He said, “This integration with PayPal will allow our U.S. users to not just buy crypto seamlessly through MetaMask, but also to easily explore the Web3 ecosystem.“
