Beating the Werewolf in Axie: Den of Mysteries now guarantees players something for their trouble. Onchain Heroes, the dungeon’s developer, included the adjustment in its Oct. 8 weekly patch — any Werewolf takedown that doesn’t produce a Blessing will pay out 100 Treasure.

“If the Werewolf doesn’t drop a Blessing, he now drops 100 Treasure instead of leaving you empty-handed,” the game’s official X account explained in its patch notes thread. “Blessing odds are unchanged, but now his defeat also contributes toward your weekly pool.”

The adjustment went live on the very day of DoM: Reborn’s second raffle draw. That draw is set for 4:30 p.m. UTC on Oct. 8, arriving half an hour after the game’s weekly reset, which hits at 4 p.m. UTC.

The week in numbers

Weekly stats shared by the account put the past seven days at 1,191 completed runs and 10,001 burnt keys. The weekly prize pool climbed to $7,001, with Blessing payouts contributing a further $2,013 in USDC.

Treasure is what powers those payouts. Every key spent on a run scales each pickup, and when the Thursday reset comes around, the weekly pool settles in USDC and is divided in line with each player’s Treasure haul. Blessings, unlike Treasure, are paid out on the spot.

Inside the raffle

Raffle tickets are earned by defeating Kilnbane, the boss stationed on floor 10 of every run. Each key spent yields one ticket from his chest, and players register their entries at the Raffle Board in the lobby.

Across the event there are three draws, dated Sept. 24, Oct. 8 and Oct. 22, each producing five winners. On offer are $500 worth of Axie Land items, 15 Ronke PFPs and $500 worth of RONKE rewards.

Reborn’s final fortnight

Reborn began Sept. 10 and finishes Oct. 22, with both moments marked at 4 p.m. UTC. More than $6,000 in prizes are riding on the event, headlined by a $5,000 leaderboard pool split down the middle between USDC and AXS for the top 100 Shard collectors. Shards come from mobs on the first eight floors, grow with keys spent and stack without any cap across the full six weeks.

Onchain Heroes overhauled the dungeon for 2.0, extending runs to 10 floors that end in the Kilnbane fight and dropping key prices to $1 from $2. Keys can be bought with USDC, RON, WETH or AXS, and up to 100 can be used per run.

Each key is carved up with 70% feeding the weekly prize pool, 18% going to the Blessings pool and 5% flowing to the Throne, a progressive bounty that hands its winner 80% of the pool along with the soulbound Stella skin. What remains — 7% — covers development.

Den of Mysteries went live April 30 as a joint project between Onchain Heroes and Axie Infinity AXS $1.17 ▲ +1% on the Ronin network. No Axie NFT is needed for the 2.0 rebuild — only a Ronin wallet — and a single run lasts roughly 10 to 15 minutes on desktop or mobile.

Wrapping up its thread, the account issued a caution to anyone holding tickets: “Tickets you don’t enter won’t be in the draw.”
