Wilder World Unlocks Custom Avatars, Linking Character Looks to Pack-Pulled NFTs

wilder world unlocks custom avatars linking character looks to pack pulled nfts In Brief:

In Brief:

  • Wilder World (official site) has switched on Custom Avatars inside its Super Early Access build, swapping the old preset Trinity suits for slot-by-slot gear sourced from Wilder Packs.
  • Gear only shows up in game while it is held in a connected ZERO wallet — sell an item and it disappears from both your inventory and any loadout you had saved.
  • Season One consists of 108,000 Packs priced at 150 WILD apiece, and every WILD spent on them is burned for good.

Custom Avatars are now live in Wilder World’s Super Early Access build, giving players slot-level say over how their character looks in Wiami and tying that appearance to NFTs pulled out of Wilder Packs.

“Custom Avatars are live and Wilders are already flexing,” the project said in a post on X.

When the Avatar Creator first arrived, it worked as little more than a selector: players chose one of a curated group of preset Trinity suits and jumped in. That made it a visual menu rather than an inventory.

What changed

With the customization stage that Wilder World had mapped out as V2, the presets are gone. Everyone now begins on a base undersuit and builds outward, saving and configuring combinations of helmets, gloves, boots, armor plates and accessories obtained through Packs.

Each component can be swapped on its own. Coverage spans the undersuit, helmet, chest and pelvis, along with left and right versions of shoulder pads, forearms, gloves, thighs, calves and boots. When it detailed the armor configuration work last year, Wilder World said the setup supports as many as 18 individual slots.

Ownership is what gates all of it. Anything equipped in the Creator must be sitting in a connected ZERO wallet to appear and function in game, and once an asset is sold it is stripped automatically from the player’s inventory and from every saved loadout that included it.

Where the gear comes from

The supply line runs through Packs. Every Pack holds three fully onchain, tradable NFTs drawn from the Avatar, Wheels and Weapon industries — Avatar gear supplies armor and apparel, combat items supply weapons and attachments, and Wheels upgrades supply vehicle parts that influence speed, control and performance.

Season One spans 108,000 Packs at 150 WILD each. Exactly half of that supply, or 54,000 Packs, is set aside for gameplay rewards, while the remaining 54,000 can be bought. Purchases are capped at 10 Packs per day per player, and Packs are additionally sold on the Packs website using WILD or a credit card.

Six rarity tiers are in play: Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary and WILD. Every item comes from fixed probabilities written straight into the smart contract and locked in for the season, and opening any one Pack does nothing to shift the odds on another.

Every bit of WILD spent on Season One Packs is permanently burned. On top of that, Wilder World channels a share of Pack sales into Labyrinth, an algorithmic system that buys WILD on the open market and burns some of it.

Trinity Keepers

Holders of three different Genesis NFTs spanning three separate industries — known as Trinity Keepers — are given Trinity ZERO, a limited-edition custom suit that arrives with a standing display case for a Crib or apartment in Wiami. One Trinity ZERO Avatar is granted per Trinity held.

Early access to the Creator, however, is not part of the deal. Wilder World said upcoming versions go out to every Super Early Access player, with those who aren’t Keepers beginning on the undersuit and working up through Packs or gameplay-earned items.

Background

Super Early Access rolled out worldwide at Gamescom on Aug. 20, 2025, built on Unreal Engine 5 and given away through the Epic Games Store alongside a linked ZERO account. That launch came with three maps, more than 10 weapons, early matchmaking and progression, leaderboards and a 10-player deathmatch offering a first- and third-person camera toggle. It ran in tandem with the $100,000 Legend of the WILD tournament, whose finals were worth $48,000 in WILD.

Pack opening arrived earlier this year, followed by Game Release 0.11.1, which brought stability fixes to the Garage, Packs and notification flows, restored collision in traffic and park zones, got teleporters working and tightened up vehicle handling. Clipping and rotation problems inside the Avatar Creator were also cleaned up in that build. The Garage reached version one on Aug. 15.

WILD debuted May 11, 2021, as an ERC-20 token carrying a total supply of 500,000,000. Unlocks wrapped up in 2023 with roughly 479.2 million tokens — 95.85% of supply — released. On Sept. 1 the token changed hands near $0.015 on 24-hour volume of about $134,000, well below its all-time high of $7.50 recorded Nov. 27, 2021.

Packs arrive on a seasonal cadence and are grouped into Eras, each defining a full product line covering Avatar gear, combat parts, vehicles and furniture. Wilder World said that once an Era closes, its assets will never be issued again.
