Yakkamon logs 15,725 invite-only sign-ups before opening registration to all

yakkamon logs 15725 invite only sign ups before opening registration to all While signups remained closed to all but invited Sunflower Land players, Yakkamon logged 15,725 trainers, according to the studio — and that barrier has now been lifted for everyone else.

In Brief:

  • During a pre-registration phase limited to invited players, Yakkamon collected 15,725 trainers — eligibility was restricted to Sunflower Land (official site) accounts sitting at Bumpkin Level 20 or higher.
  • On Aug. 4 at 8 p.m. ET, referral codes threw the doors open to everyone, scrapping the level threshold as well as any wallet or Sunflower Land account requirement.
  • Waves of early access begin in Q4 2026, limited to the 100,000 highest-ranked trainers on the Season 0 leaderboard, while Monster NFT airdrops go only to the top 5,000.

While signups remained closed to all but invited Sunflower Land players, Yakkamon logged 15,725 trainers, according to the studio — and that barrier has now been lifted for everyone else.

“15,725 trainers have already pre-registered for Yakkamon during the invite-only stage,” the game said in a post on X. “Big things are coming for Yakkamon!”

That invite period was deliberately tight. An access code could only be pulled by Sunflower Land accounts at Bumpkin Level 20 or above — roughly 54,202 players. A further 295,063 fell short of the cutoff and were shut out. Set against the eligible pool, 15,725 amounts to about 29%.

How the gate came down

Codes went out first to Level 50 players, who unlocked at 8 p.m. ET; anyone at Level 20 and above followed a day later. Claiming one meant heading through the Plaza to the Yakkamon sign beside Stella, selecting “Get Access Code,” and then redeeming it at yakkamon.com.

Referral codes rewrote those rules on Aug. 4 at 8 p.m. ET. Any already-registered trainer can now hand out a working code, and it comes with no Sunflower Land account requirement, no Bumpkin level and no wallet. Pre-registration for Season 0 costs nothing and needs only an email address.

Referral points remain provisional. Thought Farm said the only referrals that count are genuine ones — a real, separate person holding a verified account who actually engages with pre-registration — and the list will be reviewed before rewards are locked in.

What the leaderboard actually decides

Early access starts in Q4 2026 and is rolled out in waves. Which wave a trainer lands in comes down to Season 0 leaderboard rank, and qualification stops at the top 100,000. Anyone ranked lower waits until full launch.

An early signup reserves nothing. Registration order settles a single question — the egg tier a trainer begins with — and each tier shuts once it fills up. The “0 / 10,000 Platinum Eggs” counter on the site is tracking that tier alone. The docs spell it out: a Basic egg holder racking up points every day ends up ranked higher than a Platinum holder who registers and then disappears.

Every trainer’s Monster Egg is an in-game item rather than an NFT. Points are what produce the NFTs. In the Trainer Point airdrop, the top 5,000 on the points leaderboard receive a Monster NFT, and a Legendary Monster NFT goes to the top 1,000 — the docs call it the rarest tier the team will ever mint.

Points, deposits and the Oct. 1 mint

There’s also a way to buy into the leaderboard, using $FLOWER. The minimum deposit is five $FLOWER on Base or Ronin, with every token yielding a point on top of a size bonus: 500 comes back as 550 points, 5,000 as 6,000 and 50,000 as 70,000. Nothing is consumed in the process. The $FLOWER stays with the trainer, who can spend it in-game on gear and crafting or pull it out tax-free after gaining access.

There is also a separate reward list that refreshes on a seven-day cycle, with every new list superseding the one before it.

Oct. 1 brings a free mint of 10,000 Monster NFTs on Ronin, letting pre-registered players claim an early monster at the cost of a network fee alone, one per trainer. Rank is irrelevant here — every pre-registered trainer can take part. Because it runs on a whitelist, wallets have to be verified beforehand or the contract will reject the transaction no matter how quickly it’s submitted. It’s a blind mint, and all 10,000 remain sealed until early access.

Background

Developed under the name Project II, Yakkamon comes from Thought Farm, the studio responsible for Sunflower Land. The game blends creature collecting and arena battling with idle farming, in which captured monsters keep gathering resources while the player is away.

The game is built on Ronin and runs on $FLOWER, with no new token involved. Thought Farm points to Sunflower Land’s 1 million players, more than 100 open source contributors and over five years of building in the open.

According to the docs, the only official site is yakkamon.com, the only official X account is @playyakkamon and the only official documentation lives at docs.yakkamon.com. Yakkamonworld.com, which runs a pre-registration page of its own, has no affiliation with the developers.
