YGG announced the IDO of $SEA Token will take place from May 9 to May 14. The Initial DEX Offering (IDO) will take place on the Copper Launchpad.
$SEA Token comes from Yield Guild Games Southeast Asia (YGG SEA), a sub DAO of YGG. YGG is a Philippines-based gaming startup mainly focused on blockchain games.
YGG SEA Raised $15M

Following the $15M funding, YGG SEA is not offering their $SEA Token IDO on Copper.
$SEA IDO Public Sale
The auction will commence at 15:00 UTC (May 9) and will end on May 14. In this initial auction IDO, only 7.5% of the total supply, 75M Tokens, will be allocated. (Total Supply is 1 Billion tokens) The starting price of $SEA is set to be $0.50 per token.
$SEA Token will be the token of governance in YGG SEA ecosystem. $SEA holders will have exclusive rights to vote on proposals. Other than that, the holders will be given whitelist opportunities for NFTs, airdrops, and exclusive reward allocations.
Copper Launchpad
YGG SEA has decided to go with Copper as the launchpad is the most user-friendly platform for YGG SEA token distribution. Thanks to Copper’s decentralized strucuture, the token will be equally distributed for all the participants taking part in the auction.
Additionally, Copper is built in a way that it prevents whales and bots from acquiring all tokens so that only the real participants get the tokens.
YGG SEA’s Future
YGG SEA is not stopping with their success in blockchain gaming. Since Last November, they’ve invested in 76 blockchain projects.
As the $SEA IDO takes place, YGG SEA has plans to expand. Currently, they have offices in Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, and Indonesia.
