In Brief:
- Artyfact has dropped the Arena Duel ticket from 5 USDT down to 1 USDT after listening to its player base.
- ARTY buybacks are funded by a 10 percent platform fee, adding support to the token.
- Matchmaking should tighten up thanks to three Arena Play Hours scheduled each day.
A Cheaper Ticket Into the Arena
As of September 15, 2026, entry into an Arena Duel in Artyfact costs 1 USDT instead of the previous 5 USDT. The 80 percent cut came after players said the earlier price was holding participation back.
Under the revised rates, ten duels now run a player 10 USDT rather than 50 USDT. That is a meaningful drop for anyone who plays mainly for fun, and it widens the field of available opponents, so matches should come together faster and newcomers can build experience without putting much on the line.
The 10 Percent Fee Feeds ARTY Buybacks
Every Arena match takes a 10 percent platform fee, and that money goes toward ARTY buybacks instead of into the studio’s pocket. Because a slice of each stake is skimmed as a fee and then spent buying ARTY on the open market, circulating supply shrinks with every duel played.
The setup sits alongside the buyback and burn program Artyfact already runs, which draws a comparable cut from NFT sales on its marketplace. With ARTY capped at 25 million tokens and no additional issuance on the roadmap, the fee doubles as a significant sink for token activity.
Daily Windows Built for Faster Matches
To tighten matchmaking, Artyfact has introduced three Arena Play Hours per day: 00:00 to 02:00 UTC, 13:00 to 15:00 UTC, and 18:00 to 20:00 UTC. Nothing is locked down here — the Arena stays open around the clock, and the windows simply flag when opponents are most likely to be online.
The slots are picked with geography in mind, covering the Americas, Europe and a slice of Asia. Funnelling players into set hours is a well-worn tactic among smaller titles, since it makes the game feel busier and keeps queue times short.
About Artyfact
Artyfact is a free-to-play action-adventure MMORPG hybrid built on BNB Chain, which entered beta on the Epic Games Store on January 24, 2025. Its competitive lineup includes Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch and Arena Duel, and players need to hold at least 1,000 ARTY to take part.
AI runs through several parts of the game, from NPC behaviour to content generation. ARTY doubles as the governance token and the in-game currency, covering purchases as well as staking rewards. On PlayToEarn the studio sits at number 142 with a score of 443, up 40.19 percent.
The reduced ticket price is already in effect, and the next recommended Arena window starts at 18:00 UTC.
