In Brief:
- According to MineX, its Minecraft server drew 6,292 players this year from over 100 countries.
- The project said each of those players now has a Solana wallet, and for most of them it was the first one they had owned.
- MineX said it is now aiming for one million players.
MineX says every one of the 6,292 players who joined its Minecraft server this year walked away with a Solana wallet.
In a post on X, the project said those players were spread across more than 100 countries. “For most, it was their first.”

MineX did not share how many of those wallets remain active or have ever carried a balance, and it gave no timeline for reaching its next milestone.
“We are going for the next million,” the project said.
Wallets at registration
The wallet total is a direct result of the server’s sign-up process. The project’s website says a Solana wallet is generated automatically whenever a player registers, with no seed phrases and no gas fees involved.
That means the 6,292 figure counts registered players rather than people who set out to get a crypto wallet. Joining works the same as it does on any other Minecraft server.
According to the project, each item on the server is an NFT on Solana, yet the blockchain stays out of view for players. MineX describes its approach as making web3 “invisible” inside Minecraft.
Item management happens in-game. Players can pass an item to a friend or permanently destroy it without leaving Minecraft.
Trading for USDC
MineX bills itself as an MMORPG built around an open economy in which items can be traded for USDC. When a player lists an item, they can sell it either for in-game currency or for real money.
Trades carry a 5% fee collected by the project, which said it supports deposits by card and withdrawals to a bank.
Anyone can use a public explorer at scan.minex.gg to look up items by name, view inventories by username, check stats and rarity, and trace the complete ownership history of an item.
There is also a browser demo that requires neither a download nor an account, though it offers fewer features than the full server.
Team and background
According to the team, its members come from Superteam Japan and Superteam Spain. The project said MineX was chosen for Solana Startup Village in Tokyo and Shenzhen and took first place at the DreamNet Solana Hackathon 2025.
The team also said it has been building Minecraft servers for more than 10 years, and that its first project, Earncraft, hit a $95 million market cap.
MineX promotes itself as the first Minecraft MMORPG where items can be traded for real money “without getting banned.” That claim is the company’s own. Since 2022, Mojang’s Minecraft rules have prohibited NFTs and real-money earning on servers, and Mojang has made no public statement about MineX.
An unrelated survival server that also goes by MineX operates at mc.playminex.net. It is not connected to the Solana project, which runs from minex.gg.
The Solana project sums up its pitch in one line: “Every one of them now has a @solana wallet.”
