King of Destiny developer InfiniGods, a web3 mobile studio, is shutting down. Its servers will stay online until November 1, 2026 at the earliest. The game is no longer available on the app stores, and the team has halted development on it and on the rest of the InfiniGods Universe.
The studio closed its announcement with a note to the community: “Thank you for playing, collecting, and being part of this with us. It meant a lot.”
What happens to players and NFT holders
NFTs stay in their owners’ hands. The team warns, though, that their functionality will be “extremely limited” and that they will have no further utility.
Monthly GOD token distributions to InfiniGods Vault NFT holders are coming to an end. The last one lands on October 26, 2026, and nothing will be paid out after that. Anyone who was already receiving the monthly distributions doesn’t have to take any action.
Apart from ending the Vault payouts, the team didn’t say what will become of the GOD token. King of Destiny is already off the stores and the servers go offline no earlier than November 1, so the October 26 distribution is the final one the InfiniGods ecosystem will make.
What King of Destiny was
On iOS and Android, King of Destiny was a mobile luck-battle game that took its cues from casual hits like Coin Master and Monopoly Go. Players spun for luck to land jackpots, journeyed through ancient civilizations, built mythical cities and battled legendary monsters.
Arbitrum powered the game. Players collected Fate, an in-game currency that could be packed into Piggy Banks: onchain collectibles that could be sold on a marketplace or cracked open to return the Fate to a player’s account. Fate also paid for pack openings that held rare and limited-edition avatars. GOD token events came to the game later, and Elder God NFT holders received in-game power-ups.
The studio had other games too. InfiniMerge (official site) was a puzzle game built on Greek mythology, and Immortal Siege (official site) was a tower defense title. InfiniPass NFT holders got early access, gameplay perks and NFT rewards. InfiniGods said its mobile games had passed 2.2 million cumulative downloads by January 2025.
The studio and the GOD token
Founded in 2021, InfiniGods set out to combine mythology with blockchain gaming. Pantera Capital led its 9 million USD seed round in May 2022, with Animoca Brands and Framework Ventures joining. Pantera Capital also led an 8 million USD Series A in April 2024, which was meant to take King of Destiny to a global audience.
The InfiniGods economy was built around GOD. In October 2024 the team announced an airdrop covering 7.5% of total supply, split into 4.25% for InfiniPass holders and 3.25% for Elder God NFT holders, plus bonuses. The Valhalla Foundation ran the airdrop.
God Vaults arrived as high-tier ERC-721 NFTs on Ethereum, minted through Magic Eden. Owners could stake them via Valhalla Staking to earn GOD, and a leveling system gave access to more perks.
Through LayerZero, GOD later went omnichain. It expanded to Base and could be bridged across Ethereum, Arbitrum Nova and Hyperliquid. In 2025 InfiniGods revealed Godchain, a dedicated Layer 3 gaming chain made with B3 for its mobile games. Godchain was B3’s second gaming chain, after Prime Chain, which was built with Parallel and Echelon. The plan was for Godchain to use GOD for in-game transactions, staking rewards and governance.
