Lost Relics: The Hollowing

Lost Relics went for a lighthearted tone last year with Hallofun. The Hollowing takes a darker turn. It’s live across Lunaria for the whole of October, and since there’s no leaderboard, players can take it at their own pace.

Sinister Squash show up nearly everywhere. Players can collect up to 50 squash a day by ringing doorbells in town, clearing floors of Descending Nightmare and Hellfire, pushing through Valdrath Highlands or Frostfall, or simply adventuring as usual. Each smashed squash pays out Creepy Coins and carries a rare chance at Collectible Statues or the new Wick of the Wicked Artifact. The Wick boosts damage by 20% but burns 15 HP every second. Hollowheads roaming the towns are another source of Creepy Coins.

Those coins go to Darthrauka, who trades them for the Wick of the Wicked, the Sinister Squashfire Mantle or Darthrauka’s Harvest, limited to one of each per account. Darthrauka’s stock also includes candies like Twisted Licorice and Phantom Pop, each of which bends the rules for two minutes. Once October is over, coins, squash and candies are wiped. Players keep the statues, the mantle and the Wick.

Etherscape: Nightfall

Etherscape’s Haunted have returned, and now they’re part of the loot. Nightfall runs until 00:00 UTC on November 15. Haunted Chests appear on every map, though they turn up most often on Cemetery maps, which are opened with a Haunted Key. Cracking one open could yield a Trick or Treat Bag or a Haunted blessing. It could also trigger an ambush that leaves you with a 10-minute curse.

The contents of Trick or Treat Bags scale with quest level and can include Haunted Essence, Haunted Keys, gold, items and Enjinite that sits outside your daily limit. Two new enemies, the Grim Reaper and the Haunted Spider, stalk players while they loot.

The biggest prize lives on-chain. Bone Effigies are crafted at the Etherforge from Haunted Essence, gold and other resources, and each one mints a random reward from a pool of 1,700 items. That pool includes Gothic weapon skins, Bone Armor and Bone Wing sets, the Haunted Spider, Bat Swarm and Skeleton Blob pets, the Bat Flurry emote, and Enjin Caches worth as much as 100 ENJ. Players can craft up to five Bone Effigies in game or pick them up on NFT.io for 30 ENJ each.

Nightfall also opens the Earth Multiverse season, which continues into the upcoming winter event. Achievements across the two events are worth up to 180 Earth Multiverse points, and those points unlock rewards.

Spirit Clicker: The Rift Scarecrow

Spirit Clicker is a free idle clicker from Enjin community creator Strope. You can play it in a browser or on Telegram without downloading anything or connecting a wallet. Its Halloween event lasts all of October. A scarecrow with a burning green heart has crossed over through the Rift, every other zone has had a Halloween makeover, and the bosses in those zones are wearing costumes.

There are five steps to the hunt:

  • Pumpkins: about 1 in every 100 defeated spirits drops a pumpkin. Tap it before it vanishes.
  • Slice: swipe across the pumpkins as they fly up. Hit a skull and the round is over.
  • Summon: eight pumpkins fill the meter and unlock the SUMMON button.
  • Burn: once the candles go out, use your light to find the Rift Scarecrow’s green flame, then land 10 hits within 30 seconds.
  • Reward: the first win of each day earns 1 Rift Point, and every Scarecrow defeated counts toward the Event leaderboard.

There’s no penalty for losing, and your level stays where it was.

The Spirit Clicker Race is running too, until December 18. It starts players fresh from Level 1 on its own leaderboard, with 2,000 ENJ split among the top 15.

ENJ Excavators: Halloween Goblin giveaway

Kepithor’s ENJ Excavators is a free-to-play mining game on the Enjin Blockchain. To mark Halloween, Kepithor is handing out 200 Halloween Goblin NFTs, and there are two routes to qualify:

  • Miners: place in the top 100 ENJ Excavators scores when the cutoff hits.
  • Holders: rank among the top 100 Enjin Meme Coin (EMC) holders at the snapshot, with at least 200 EMC in your wallet.

Both tracks close at 12:00 UTC on Tuesday, October 27. Each track pays out one goblin, so anyone who qualifies through both receives two. Leaderboard movement after the cutoff won’t be counted. Full rules are posted at kepithor.com/halloween.
