Dates and the draw
Enjin’s official schedule puts Earth Season between Oct. 13 and Dec. 18, with the end-of-season draw following on Dec. 21, 2026.
Each Essence is locked to one wallet. It cannot be sold, traded or transferred, and Essence held across several addresses cannot be merged.
Players are entered into the draw automatically after crossing certain thresholds: a minimum of 25 Essence points for Multiverse items, and a minimum of 600 for the Degen.
Odds in the draw are weighted, so those who gather more Essence over the season stand a better chance. It is also possible for one player to take home both a Multiverse item and a Degen in a single season.
What’s on offer
Every season comes with a dedicated Elemental Blob NFT. For Earth Season it’s the Moss Blob, which follows the Magma Blob (Fire), the Coral Blob (Water) and the Cloud Blob (Wind).
Gathering enough Essence lets players upgrade their Blobs to Epic or Legendary status. Enjin reserves 50,000 ENJ per season for Blob rewards, adding up to 200,000 ENJ over the full year.
This season’s Multiverse item is the Bedrock Helm. Around 5% of players will get a seasonal Multiverse item, with a floor of 150 and a ceiling of 1,000 depending on how many people end up participating.
Finally, there’s the Earthborne Degen. Degens are 1-of-1 seasonal avatars that come with governance rights and a staking pool capacity of 1 million, and just one player each season receives one.
How the quest works
Launched Feb. 3, 2026, Essence of the Elements is structured around four elements: Fire, Water, Wind and Earth.
There’s no cost to take part. Players connect their gaming wallets via the Multiverse dashboard and rack up Essence by finishing quests in multiple games, with progress carrying over from one title to another.
Games featured in the opening season were ENJ Excavators, Etherscape, Into the Multiverse, Lost Relics (official site) and The Six Dragons (official site).
Fire Season took place from Feb. 3 to April 17, Water Season came next from April 28 to July 10, and Wind Season wrapped up on Oct. 2.
The quest had originally been expected to begin on Jan. 16, 2026, but it ultimately went live on Feb. 3.
Speaking at launch, Enjin chief operating officer Rene Stefancic said the campaign “shows what’s possible when players truly own their items.”
The Wind Season Degen has already found its owner: Enjin congratulated a player named Azurak for winning the Stormborne Degen.
