QORPO’s AneeMate goes free to play in Epic Games Store public playtest

qorpos aneemate goes free to play in epic games store public playtest In Brief:

In Brief:

  • AneeMate, the creature game from QORPO, can now be played free on the Epic Games Store in a public playtest, according to the game’s account on X.
  • The playtest lets players catch AneeMates, earn rewards and chase a place in the game’s Hall of Fame.
  • MATE, an in-game currency, powers the game. Players can choose to use the $QORPO token on BNB Chain for packs, fusion and the player marketplace.

A free-to-play public playtest of AneeMate has opened on the Epic Games Store. QORPO made the announcement on the game’s X account, which urged players to “Catch faster. Climb the Hall of Fame. Become an AneeMate legend!”

According to the post, players can catch AneeMates, earn rewards and compete for a place in the Hall of Fame. It didn’t explain how Hall of Fame rankings work or what the rewards include.

QORPO WORLD posted about the launch too. “AneeMate is LIVE!” the account wrote, adding that the gameplay “is getting better every day!”

Free during Early Access, paid at launch

On the official AneeMate site, the game is described as a creature-collecting adventure for PC that costs nothing during Early Access. Once it reaches full release, the site says, it will become a paid game.

The headline feature sits on one key. Hit K and you take control of your creature, using its moves, its element and its way of traveling.

The site counts more than 80 species spread over seven elements, and creatures evolve at levels 25 and 60. QORPO’s studio homepage names Flamisaur, Voltori, Eldrion, Lixarina, Ginbu and Batine among the catchable creatures. It also lists elemental battles, camp building and staff mastery as parts of the gameplay loop.

There’s a Co-op Survival mode for two players, where the goal, per the site, is to “survive the night waves, revive each other, find 3 shards.”

No wallet required

“The whole game runs on MATE,” according to the site. MATE is island money that players earn by playing, and the game is “fully playable without a wallet.”

Using $QORPO is a choice. The token pays for packs, fusion and the player marketplace on BNB Chain. The site said “half of every pack is burned and the other half goes to a treasury that pays player rewards,” and that “the odds are checked by Chainlink VRF.”

Minted AneeMates become tradable once a player reaches player level 30. The site said each fusion costs 100 $QORPO and raises a creature’s stats by 8%.

QORPO’s homepage says the token trades on Ethereum and BNB Chain, with listings on MEXC, KuCoin and Gate. The studio sums up its token model as “Games earn → Revenue → Buyback → Burn + treasury.”

Several rounds of testing

AneeMate has gone through a number of test phases on Epic. It started with a closed pre-alpha for NFT holders, which opened Aug. 15, 2024, and lasted one week. Joining required registration on the QORPO platform.

Whitelisted players got a second pre-alpha on May 6, 2025, starting at 10 a.m. UTC, and it brought in a talent system. After that, QORPO announced a Q2 2026 playtest featuring co-op survival mechanics, proximity chat, looting, AneeMate rescue missions and robot combat across the Hidden Islands.

The concept has shifted along the way. QORPO originally pitched AneeMate as a PvPvE creature extraction shooter on Unreal Engine 5, built around 30-minute sessions of rescuing corrupted creatures from elemental islands. Now the site describes it as a creature-collecting game “like Palworld” and says it has no affiliation with Pocketpair.

AneeMate’s place in the QORPO lineup

On its homepage, QORPO calls AneeMate “A creature adventure on a living island. Catch them, raise them, then become them.” Its other listed titles are hero shooter Citizen Conflict, an AI-native project named One Life, and Tamitos, a children’s IP about neurodiversity and emotions.

The studio claims “Six years of shipping, zero hacks” and a “190K+ community.” It says Citizen Conflict was made before AI, and AneeMate is the game it is scaling at the moment.

According to QORPO WORLD, players have already started building in the game. “Can’t wait to show you what our community has been building next week!” the account posted.
