Swap pools, claim pools and a staking service for a Demon Meliodas NFT all open at MARBLEX on July 30 at 14:00 UTC+9 — the very hour NFT Adventure Season 2 begins.

To celebrate, we are officially opening the SWAP and CLAIM pools, along with our new STAKING service for the legendary Demon Meliodas!

What players are told to do, according to the post, is straightforward: get hold of the NFT, then stake it to mine $MBX.

What the staking service does

Two categories of NFT staking are laid out in MARBLEX documentation. Mining distributes MBX gradually for as long as an NFT remains deposited, while seasonal staking hands over a set amount for keeping an NFT staked across a defined season.

There is a ceiling on the MBX any individual NFT can mine. Reach that ceiling and the NFT stops producing.

No fee applies to depositing or redeeming staked NFTs and MBX. A 2.5% charge does apply when mined tokens are claimed.

APR can be pushed higher by staking tokens on top of the NFT. For NFTs that have mined out, level-up costs are settled in KAIA and derived from the MBX/KAIA exchange rate; the staking service’s second version made it possible to level up to 20 NFTs in a single go.

Season 1 set the template

NFT Adventure is structured in seasons, with each one living at its own URL and pairing with a different collaborating IP. Missions — attendance checks, OX quizzes, planet explorations — hand out in-game currency, limited costumes and items, and strengthen participants’ NFTs along the way. Luminus, the MARBLEX NFT mascot, threads through every story.

Dispatching an NFT on an exploration shifts it temporarily into a separate wallet, where staking takes place, and it comes back once the exploration wraps up. A status bar creeps upward, and once it reads 100% users tap it to claim Adventure Rewards.

NFTs at Level 4 or higher were additionally eligible for a special gift — Season 1 called it the Koongya Award — which could be traded for other NFTs on the MBX NFT platform.

Koongyaz Universe Odyssey, the opening season, leaned on South Korean IP Koongya Restaurantz; it was revealed during Korea Blockchain Week 2024 and went live that October. Its swap pools allowed Ticket Puzzles to be traded for random Alphabet Puzzle NFTs, with Pool 1 requiring nine alphabets that spelled “ADVENTURE” — Jokers could stand in — for a single MBX Marblership Koongya.

That season’s claim pools rolled out on a staggered timetable at 17:00 UTC+9, each carrying a supply cap and an MBX price. Season 2 moves the opening three hours earlier in the day.

Background on the 7DS deal

The Seven Deadly Sins project was announced by MARBLEX on Sept. 23, 2025, framed as a licensing arrangement reaching beyond straightforward NFT issuance. Thai reporting on the news pegged franchise sales at more than 55 million copies globally.

“We are thrilled to work on a globally recognized IP like The Seven Deadly Sins,” said Jin Pyo Hong, CEO of MARBLEX, who added that the goal is “to introduce groundbreaking blockchain content that will strengthen our competitive edge in the global Web3 market.”

Later that month the company teased the tie-up on X, indicating 7DS would appear in NFT Adventures. Its 2026 strategy update named 7DS NFT Adventure among its IP collaborations, alongside the MBX Store & Pay web store, evolution collection RPG Pixel Tamers and a buyback and burn program.

Token backdrop

A blockchain subsidiary of Netmarble, MARBLEX spreads its tokens across several chains. MBX serves as the multi-network public utility token with centralized exchange support on Kaia, MBXL acts as the bridge token on Kaia, and gMBX is the in-game token on Immutable zkEVM — the chain the marketplace relocated to after leaving Kaia Chain.

The buyback program channels 20% of net revenue from this year’s games into purchasing and burning MBX. April 1 through June 30 made up the Q2 2026 burn, which wiped out 6,368 MBX and can be tracked on Kaiascan.

July 1 brought an all-time low of $0.02442 for MBX, some 99.97% under the $72.17 peak it hit in March 2022.
