AlphaTON Capital has committed to a significant expansion in the gaming sector by agreeing to purchase a 60% controlling interest in GAMEE, a subsidiary of Animoca Brands. This new acquisition comes after AlphaTON previously secured a 51% majority in October 2025, affirming its strategic interest in GAMEE.
Financial Terms and Future Projections
The terms of the acquisition involve an upfront payment mix comprising $1.5 million in cash and around $2 million in AlphaTON shares and warrants. Additionally, AlphaTON will buy $2 million worth of GAMEE’s GMEE token from the open market within 90 days. Based on GAMEE’s performance and achievement of specific EBITDA targets, up to an additional $7.5 million will be paid over the next two years.
User Base and Strategic Alliances
GAMEE reports a substantial user base of 119 million, with 61 million users integrated within the Telegram ecosystem. In 2025, the company generated about $3.5 million in revenue, indicating robust growth potential.
