Early Access Campaign Rolls Out

BUGATI has officially launched its early access campaign on the Base Mainnet, marking a significant step toward public availability. This first phase is limited to 5,000 participants and centers around a novel gaming concept where players create, crew, and combat using mobile fortresses in a detailed virtual environment.

Engaging in Early Access

The current phase of the game is not yet open for public play. Instead, potential players are required to engage in various social missions, verify their Base Mainnet wallet, and undergo a manual application review process. The company has planned three test servers to fine-tune the gaming experience, with the promise of $BUGA tokens for eligible early participants. However, these tokens are not yet live or available for trading, with final eligibility tied strictly to campaign guidelines.

How the Game Works

Players begin in an isometric Hub area divided into several zones including the Workshop, Barracks, and Arena Gate. The Workshop serves as the creative space where players use a 10-column by 8-row grid to design their rolling fortresses. A valid fortress design must include a chassis, two wheels, one core, and four crew slots, all shielded by structural protection. Players choose from materials like wood, stone, and steel to construct their fortress, each offering different strategic benefits.

Crew Roles and Battle Dynamics

The game features four specialist roles: Bomber, Ranger, Driller, and Engineer, each bringing unique abilities to the battlefield. The Bomber excels in damaging wooden structures, the Ranger targets exposed crew with precise firing, the Driller is effective against stone, and the Engineer supports with repair abilities and cooldown management. Battles are real-time, side-view engagements designed to last between two to three minutes, emphasizing tactical positioning and power control through a drag-and-aim mechanism.

Battle System and Victory Conditions

Combat effectiveness relies on fuel for fortress repositioning within a limited range, adding a layer of tactical depth. Projectile impacts and the resulting damage are calculated through a deterministic grid simulation that considers direct damage, material impact, and structural destruction. Victory is determined either by destruction of the core, the defeat of all crew members, or the most remaining fortress health when time runs out. The initial testing phase focuses on bot practices, with plans for online PvP combat after necessary balance adjustments.

Progression and Economic Strategy

As players engage in battles, they earn Gold, an off-chain value meant for future progression within the game. Long-term participation is tracked via Account XP, and competitive standings are previewed through Trophies. Although direct monetization features like a paid item shop are absent in the current phase, BUGATI hints at future economic elements including material, cosmetics, and seasonal content sales, as well as a potential one-time activation fee paid in USDC.

Registration for early access is currently open at bugati.xyz, offering gaming enthusiasts an early glimpse into BUGATI’s fortified, battle-ready universe.
