In Brief:
- Cambria says more than $5 million in Keys has now been risked inside its Dungeons mode, a jump from the $1 million the studio cited in a post on June 30.
- Its counters currently show 242,132 dungeon runs, 133,500 fishing casts and 87,900 gems appraised.
- The number arrives just before Cambria’s RSGP token generation event, which is being targeted for August together with the Genesis mainnet launch and Gold Rush Season 4.
According to the studio, Keys risked in Dungeons have now passed the $5 million mark — around five times the $1 million total it published on June 30.
Cambria paired that dollar figure with three other counts: 242,132 dungeon runs, 133,500 fishing casts and 87,900 gems appraised. The June post listed 128,571 runs, meaning that tally has almost doubled since.

Keys serve as both the entry stake and the metric the studio tracks. They are sold for USDC at a rate of 10 Keys per dollar, and each player decides how many to put on the line per run. Risking more Keys increases the payout multiplier — but dying before you cash out wipes them out.
How the run economy works
Dungeons went live in invite-gated early access on May 15 at 7 a.m. PT on Abstract, the chain Cambria selected as the mode’s exclusive home. Entry requires burning Depths Keys, after which players select melee, ranged or magic along with a glass cannon, hybrid or tank loadout, then fight through procedurally stocked floors — currently limited to eight — where difficulty climbs exponentially.
Every floor poses the same choice: cash out, or descend further. Artifacts picked up along the way turn into Dungeon Coins, which either auto-redeem against the Dungeon Liquidity Pool for weekly USDC payouts or can be traded over the counter. Payouts carry an 8% fee, divided between an ecosystem growth fund and the dev team. Keys that go unplayed can be refunded at any point.
The Signet Tier a player holds at cashout reduces the tax applied to Dungeon Coins, meaning higher signets retain a larger share of the winnings.
Fishing became a Key sink
Fishing casts and gem appraisals are recent additions to the scoreboard. Dungeon Fishing landed in early beta as part of patch v0.3.0, a release that also delivered a Genesis Loot Drop, Quests, fresh Dungeon Builds and performance improvements.
The mode is idle by design. Grub is spent as bait, and players reel in Sacks of Gems, Charm Cards, NFTs and chests — everything cashes out to Keys, and pulls get stronger the longer a session runs. The bait comes at a cost in Keys: Mirelle Kain, the NPC stationed at the pond, charges three Dungeon Keys per 100 Grub, while also tracking progress and paying out catches.
Buying Grub raises Mirelle’s Favor, which effectively turns the favor requirement into a cumulative Grub bill. Reaching the first of the 10 tiers takes roughly 1,944 Grub; clearing all 10 runs to about 194,400.
On Aug. 2, Cambria unveiled a promotion handing newcomers as much as 30,000 free Grub from Mirelle across seven days, which places the end of that window near Aug. 9. Landing an Icefin Carp serves as a quest objective worth 1,000 airdrop points, while the Uncut Emerald found in Angler Sacks is the reward players are hunting.
Token launch next
RSGP is slated for August alongside the Genesis mainnet launch and Gold Rush Season 4. No specific day has been confirmed by Cambria, and community sources previously indicated a June window, so the timing has already slipped once.
Two separate reward tracks feed into it. Loot Chests grade wallets using a Degen Score compiled from a year of Solana trading, Polymarket positions and perps activity, alongside a Chad Score derived from token holdings. Chests can be claimed via the lobby now and must be opened within 14 days, while eligible allocations will also be sent automatically to linked wallets at the event. The Genesis Airdrop works on points instead, drawing from Trinkets and Essence Points accumulated during previous Gold Rush and Duel Arena seasons.
Details on supply, allocation, vesting, treasury, investor share and the liquidity split remain undisclosed.
Cambria’s RSGP pre-sale reached its $1 million hard cap with 959 wallets taking part, the biggest single allocation coming in at $50,001 and pricing set at a $30 million fully diluted valuation. The raise pushed total funding to roughly $4.5 million, following a $2.5 million seed co-led by BITKRAFT Ventures and 1kx plus a $2 million strategic round co-led by BITKRAFT and Sky Mavis that also attracted Beast ICO, Apix and Zeneca. A further $1.3 million came from a mint of Cambria’s Island NFTs.
Volume from the studio’s earlier modes is what investors were buying into. Duel Arena, its fully onchain PvP mode, logged $25 million wagered across over 1 million duels within two months, and in December 2025 BITKRAFT placed Cambria’s cumulative onchain volume north of $150 million. Gold Rush Season 2 pulled in $1.5 million in sales and topped 4,500 concurrent wallets.
Sky Mavis co-founder Jeff “Jihoz” Zirlin said the Cambria team “has consistently shown their ability to innovate, create new mechanics, and drive massive volume.”
