DeFi Exchange KyberSwap Got Exploited For $265,000

Their report: “At 3.24 pm GMT+7, we identified a suspicious element on our frontend.” “Shutting down our frontend to conduct investigations, we identified a malicious code in our Google Tag Manager (GTM) and immediately disabled it.”

Two addresses were affected by the exploit, resulting in $256k in funds lost. KyberSwap ensured that the users would be compensated while also saying that the attacker was targeting whale wallets.

A $40,000 Bounty

KyberSwap offers $40,000 to the hackers if they return the money stolen. Guess what? No funds have been returned.
