NEWGEN LABS, a metaverse gaming studio and Web3 creative lab building the next generation of video games, announced that its first-person shooter game Forge Arena will hit the Epic Games Store!
The Forge Arena was the first (2018) competitive FPS game to utilize Web3 technology via NFTs and P2E mechanics. NEWGEN LABS invites everyone to join Forge Arena and experience their new map Island for a limited time. Users who participate will receive a free commemorative custom weapon skins of an AK or M4, both called: Epic Kill.
The game will be Free-to-Play (F2P) on the Epic Games Store but will require a WAX wallet if players desire to participate in the Play-to-Earn (P2E) economy. The only difference is that traditional gamers will not have skins in their inventory!
Creating a wallet might seem complicated for traditional gamers as they have zero experience with Web3. Skins in-game will require a wallet that’s why the Forge Arena is working on a system that will easily allow players to create a wallet with a few clicks.
