Axie Infinity is celebrating Lunar New Year 2023 with the launch of a special event. From today Jan. 25, until Wednesday, Feb. 1, any community member can join and earn Moon Shards and Moon Dust by completing missions in the arena.
Additionally, players can receive extra limited-time Lunar New Year 2023 Avatars, Stickers. and Borders by collecting enough points.
Make sure to take advantage of this, as there are great rewards for completing some easy and fun missions.
Missions of the Axie Infinity Lunar New Year 2023 Contest
As said before, community members can earn great rewards by completing some missions. Each mission rewards the player with specific points, so focus on completing the most profitable tasks. You can check your progress in the dedicated contest leaderboard.
The missions (regular):
- Win a Ranked Arena Battle in Origins: 2 points
- Victory in a Practice Arena Battle in Origins: 1 point
- Use exactly the same Axies to Win 3 Arena Battles in either Ranked or Practice: 25 points
- Win 5 Practice or Ranked Arena Battles with the same three Bug Axies: 25 points
- Use the same three Bird Axies to win 5 Practice or Ranked Arena Battles: 5 points
- Win 5 Practice or Ranked Arena Battles using the same three Plant Axies: 25 points
- Use the same Aqua Axies lineup to win 5 Practice or Ranked Arena Battles: 5 points
- Win 5 Practice or Ranked Arena Battles using the same three Reptile Axies: 25 points
- Craft any Rare Ronin Rune: 50 points
- Forge any Rare Ronin Charm: 25 points
- Craft any Epic Ronin Rune: 150 points
- Forge any Epic Ronin Charm: 75 points
- Buy three Axies: 100 points

- 5 contest points: 100 Moonshard and 1 Epic Moon Dust
- 50 contest points: 200Moonshard and 1 LNY 2023 Envelopes avatar
- 150 contest points: 300 Moonshard and 1 Epic Moon Dust
- 300 contest points: 400 Moonshard and 1 Epic Moon Dust
- 600 contest points: 500 Moonshard and 1 Epic Moon Dust
- 1000 contest points: 750 Moonshard and 1 LNY 2023 Scroll Sticker
- 1500 contest points: 1,000 Moonshard and 1 Epic Moon Dust
- 2000 contest points: 1,500 Moonshard and 1 LNY 2023 Border
