Illuvium announced that their first even land sales will commence on June 2nd at 09:00 UTC.
The first land sale will consist of 20,000 land plots, one of which you can buy to build your empire and earn in-game rewards. Buying land in the Illuvium metaverse will also allow you to extract fuel as it is one of the most crucial parts of the game’s economy.
The land sale will follow a Dutch Auction method. Although, this will be a little different as they will use a longer duration than usual in order to avoid a gas war.
Illuvium is serious about the gas fees as they’ve learned from what recently happened at the BAYC land sale in Otherside metaverse. (Spoiler alert, it was a disaster).
They’ve implemented a system where it will be unlikely for two parties to bid on the same land plot – it will minimize the chances of increased gas fees and failed transactions.
