KuCoin, a leading global cryptocurrency exchange, recently revealed the findings of its second annual KuCoin Campus Survey at the Vietnam Technology & Investment Summit (VTIS) 2024. Conducted on December 3rd and 4th, the survey involved 926 participants, providing valuable insights into the increasing interest in blockchain technology among the youth in Vietnam.
Optimism and Career Aspirations in Blockchain
The survey results are overwhelmingly positive, with 92% of young attendees expressing optimism about the future of digital assets. An impressive 82% of respondents are considering careers in blockchain, indicating a strong talent pool ready to enter the crypto industry. Additionally, 68% of participants reported a very high interest in blockchain technology, positioning Vietnam as a crucial hub for crypto innovation and community engagement.
Current Engagement and Future Opportunities
Moreover, 73% of respondents currently own cryptocurrencies, demonstrating a mature market that is poised for further expansion and technological adoption. This widespread involvement lays a solid foundation for future blockchain-related initiatives, offering fertile ground for KuCoin and other enterprises to grow their operations.
Diverse Career Interests in the Blockchain Sector
The survey also revealed a variety of career aspirations among the youth, with data analysis, marketing, and business development cited as the most desirable roles in the blockchain sector. These preferences indicate that Vietnamese youth are not only interested in the technical aspects of blockchain but also in the strategic and operational dimensions of the crypto industry.
