Blockchain Brawlers Richard

Richard Garfield, the creator behind “Magic: The Gathering”, is making a New Game Mode for Blockchain Brawlers.

Wax Studios is eyeing to dominate the P2E industry by pushing its focus on play-to-earn gaming.

The game studio has hired Richard Garfield to create a new game mode for its famous and successful game Blockchain Brawlers. Richard is also known as the mastermind behind the tabletop card game Magic: The Gathering.

“I’m aiming for a game that is entertaining and immersive with real strategic choices and opportunity for risk taking—yet easy enough to learn that it opens up Blockchain Brawlers to a broad player audience.”

The Chief Gaming Officer at Wax Studios, Michael Rubinelli, shared his thoughts on the future of P2E gaming and Blockchain Brawlers. Rubinelli thinks that Richard Garfield is the best person for their upcoming game mode. Rubinelli also praised Garfield’s strategy-driven mind.

“Web3 gaming is in urgent need of redefinition. Right now, it’s more about farming than having fun”, Michael Rubinelli added.

Blockchain Brawlers

In Blockchain Brawlers, each “Brawler” is an in-game asset with unique abilities, traits, and rarities. When you wrestle against other players, you win $BRWL. The rarer NFTs you play with, you more $BRWL you win as reward.

You need to have an NFT Brawler to play the game.

Each Brawler costs at least 2400 WAX (~$600)

The players also need to have a ring to wrestle in which costs at least 590 WAX (~$150)

Blockchain Brawlers has seen great success lately. At the end of March, they launched PVE (Player Vs. Environment) mode and within the first two weeks, a $430M volume was traded.
