My Neighbor Alice, a multiplayer game built on blockchain technology, has introduced a new initiative called The Alice Collective—a grants program aimed at expanding its virtual universe. The company has allocated 100,000 $ALICE tokens to support Web3 projects with a focus on community-driven content, NFT integration, and cross-platform collaboration.

What is My Neighbor Alice?

My Neighbor Alice is a play-to-earn farming game that offers a relaxing gameplay experience. It features an open world where players can explore the environment, interact with others, and own land and assets.

Players will be guided through a series of quests that introduce the game’s basics, earning essential rewards as they progress. The game world consists of 100,000 land plots divided into six islands and four regions. Players can modify the topography of their plots, build structures, craft items, gather materials, and establish farms. These farms can later be redeemed for NFTs and rewards in $ALICE tokens.

New Funding Opportunity for Web3 Creators

The Alice Collective is open to developers, artists, and NFT communities interested in creating new experiences using the game’s intellectual property. This includes developing stories, interactive assets, and integrations that connect My Neighbor Alice with other blockchain projects.

Interested applicants can submit their project proposals for consideration. Selected participants will receive a portion of the 100,000 $ALICE token pool and gain access to the resources, lore, and community of the Alice universe.

ALICE GRANTS

Connecting Games, NFTs, and Blockchain Ecosystems

One of the primary goals of this program is to improve interoperability, enabling different Web3 projects to collaborate effectively. By linking NFT collections and gaming tools with My Neighbor Alice, the initiative aims to provide more value to existing players while inviting new creators into the ecosystem.

This effort also seeks to introduce more storytelling elements and promote shared world-building among blockchain communities, helping to bridge the gap between gaming and NFT utility.

What’s Next for My Neighbor Alice

In addition to the grants program, My Neighbor Alice is preparing for significant upgrades. These include a User-Generated Content Tool, which allows players to create their in-game items, and a decentralized NFT bridge to facilitate token trading.

The 2025 roadmap features upgrades to boost accessibility and player engagement. A significant highlight is the integration of WebGPU, which improves performance in a broader range of devices.

The introduction of Guest Mode allows newcomers to explore the game without prior Web3 experience, enabling them to try activities before deciding on land purchases.

Community involvement is emphasized with the new Moxie System, rewarding players for developing skills in farming and crafting. The Land Sharing feature promotes collaboration by allowing players to manage land and resources together.

Additionally, the expansion will bring new regions and NFT partnerships to enhance the Alice universe.

With its robust player economy and peer-to-peer marketplace, My Neighbor Alice continues to evolve into a more open and creator-friendly platform. The Alice Collective is expected to foster this transition by encouraging innovation and collaboration within the Web3 space.
