WAX has launched the n8n-wax-kit, a toolset that ties the WAX blockchain into n8n, the open-source platform for automating workflows. Using it, developers can fire off and execute WAX interactions straight from n8n’s drag-and-drop canvas without touching backend code.

What it does
The kit links WAX to tools that teams are already running. WAX pointed to Discord, Google Sheets and Stripe by name, noting that additional integrations are supported as well.
n8n revolves around a node-based canvas: instead of hand-coding every step, users drop steps onto a workflow and wire them together. Out of the box, the platform comes with over 400 ready-made integrations, and it accommodates custom JavaScript and Python for anything those don’t cover.
Blockchain, however, has been a weak spot. Because n8n offers no built-in way to interact with WAX, any team looking to shuttle data between the chain and their other tools had to build and upkeep their own scripts. The n8n-wax-kit sets out to bridge that gap.
Why it matters
The proposition targets people who don’t write backend code. Community managers, small studios and teams operating WAX projects can now assemble automations that pull from or send to the chain, all through the same visual interface they’d rely on to connect any other API.
That brings the bar down for everyday tasks. One workflow might record on-chain activity into a spreadsheet, push updates to a Discord server, or link a Stripe payment to a WAX action — everything handled within n8n.
Background
Gaming and NFTs make up much of WAX’s usage, and its ecosystem depends on off-chain tools such as Discord and spreadsheets to manage communities and day-to-day operations. Connecting those tools back to the chain has usually called for custom code.
n8n, for its part, has gained traction among crypto and web3 developers precisely because it’s open and plays nicely with any API. Other blockchain projects have gone after it as well, from EVM-oriented community node packages to a verified Crypto APIs integration spanning more than 25 chains. WAX, though, was absent from the chains those tools handled.
Until this kit arrived, every one of those links required writing and maintaining backend code.
