Wemade Integrates Chainlink CCIP on Unagi Omnichain Protocol

South Korean gaming company Wemade has recently announced the integration of Chainlink CCIP on its omnichain protocol Unagi. This integration, known as Unagi(x), is set to bring secure cross-chain interoperability to Wemix 3.0 mainnet, Wemade’s native blockchain. Unagi(x) currently supports nine blockchains, including popular ones like Arbitrum, Avalanche, and Ethereum.

This announcement coincides with the upcoming global launch of Wemade’s highly anticipated MMORPG Night Crows on Tuesday, March 12th. Through the integration of Unagi(x) and Chainlink, the game will now support interoperability across six chains, including Wemix 3.0, Kroma, Avalanche, BNB Chain, Ethereum, and Polygon, via its Una wallet.

Chainlink co-founder Sergey Nazarov voiced his support for Wemade’s innovative approach to blockchain gaming. He emphasized the importance of secure connectivity solutions in paving the way for the future of blockchain gaming and its intersection with DeFi.

With this strategic integration, Wemade is poised to lead the blockchain gaming community into a new era of secure and interconnected gameplay experiences.
