Why a Universal card matters here
No Parallel claims a Universal card as its own, and they can be played in every deck. That places Eckrel’s Blade in a separate category from a faction card, which is only built around Augencore, Earthen, Kathari, Marcolian or The Shroud.
Units are what Upgrades attach to. When a Unit is Wasted, the game’s Salvage keyword shifts its equipped Upgrades onto other Units — one of the reasons Upgrade cards can outlast a board wipe.
The ceiling is set by deck rules. Decks are exactly 40 cards, no card may appear more than three times, and Legendary cards are capped at a single copy.
How the pass is built
Two tracks make up the structure outlined in Parallel’s Battle Pass FAQ. Both the Free Track and the Premium Track span Level 1 through Level 30, and players who keep grinding past 30 unlock Bonus Levels.
Entry to the Premium Track is priced at 2,400 Glints. Included are a playable card at Level 1, an exclusive card back, Glints, Apparition Packs and a First Edition copy of the card introduced with the season.
The Free Track offers a different mix: Apparition Packs, Ethereal Shards, Fragments that act as XP boosts, the new playable card, an exclusive Paragon skin, Glints and an exclusive card frame.
The Prime upgrade path
Per the FAQ, cosmetics from the Battle Pass can be taken to their Prime Variant by spending PRIME and turning in the Apparition version. Those Prime Variants can be traded and sold on the market.
The window, though, is a tight one. Eligibility extends only to current Battle Pass cosmetics, and the option to upgrade closes when each Battle Pass does.
Rollover timing
The Battle Pass calendar was revised earlier in the game’s run. As the FAQ noted, passes have opened and closed on the first Thursday of the month rather than the first day of the month since Season 11, and rollover shifted from 00:00 UTC to 15:00 UTC.
Neither a cost nor effect text for Eckrel’s Blade has appeared in Parallel’s announcement post on X.
How quickly the new card filters into the meta comes down to a single rule. For its first month, the card each Battle Pass introduces is available from that pass alone — until the Battle Pass wraps up, it cannot be pulled from an Apparition Pack or crafted using Scraps.
