In Brief:
- According to AS Monaco, the club’s Early Access cards are arriving on Sorare (official site), bringing its 2026-27 roster to the market before Ligue 1 gets underway.
- Through Boosted Early Access, Sorare issues ultra-limited cards prior to Matchday 1, each carrying a temporary scoring bonus that counts only on Hot Streaks boards.
- Their collaboration dates back to 2021 and has been extended through 2027. With all 18 clubs on board, Ligue 1 is now fully represented on Sorare.
The club confirmed that AS Monaco Early Access cards are hitting Sorare, placing its squad in front of managers ahead of the French season’s opening weekend.
Ligue 1’s 2026-27 campaign is set to kick off Aug. 23 and wrap up on May 29, 2027. Early Access releases are always scheduled to arrive before a given league reaches its Matchday 1.

Squad building was the angle Monaco chose for the announcement. “Scout ASM’s top talents before everyone else,” the club said. “Build your team each week and win exceptional rewards.”
What Early Access is
Cards under Early Access hit the market before the standard release timetable. For the Sorare 27 season, the platform introduced a boosted variant of the format, pairing it with Flash Sales, which it characterised as “a brand-new Instant Buy event with fixed prices.”
The other component was described by Sorare as “ultra-limited cards released before Matchday 1, featuring a temporary scoring bonus exclusively for Hot Streaks boards.” Because Hot Streaks lives within Pro Mode, that bonus has no effect anywhere else in the game.
Every league’s drops, Sorare said, are laid out on a published Early Access calendar covering the season.
The July template
What the format looks like in practice was set by the debut boosted drop. On Wednesday, July 29, Sorare opened a three-hour window beginning at 4 p.m. CET that covered the Scottish, Austrian and Croatian leagues.
Any card acquired during that window came with a Pro Mode scoring bonus across the first four matchdays — 10% for Reserve, Roster and Key players, and 5% for Star and Icon.
The reward pools attached to that drop reached $45,000 in the Rest of the World Arena for Super Rare and Unique cards during the boosted Game Week, as much as $3,000 for a full In-Season Rare lineup over the opening four matchdays, and up to $2,000 in the Rare In-Season Arena across the first two Game Weeks. Each of those amounts applied to particular matchdays rather than the whole season.
No comparable figures have been released by Sorare for the Monaco drop.
Season launch terms
At the Sorare 27 launch, the company attached 2X multipliers to the earliest Pro Mode steps and a 3X multiplier to the biggest one, which was worth as much as $12,000 on the final step. Arena rewards, meanwhile, were doubled across all three scarcities for the opening two Game Weeks.
Arena no longer uses divisions; a single leaderboard and one prize pool have taken their place. Optional goalkeeper and outfield substitutes are entered automatically whenever a player fails to feature.
A partnership the company had been counting on collapsed, Sorare said, and the money instead went toward richer Rare Arena rewards and a reward bonus for Classic Rare cards in Pro.
Launched in July, the season continues until the European campaign concludes in May 2027.
Where the roster stands
All 18 Ligue 1 clubs, Troyes and Le Mans FC among them, are now on the platform, completing the league. Liga Portugal came aboard via a direct deal with the league, adding Porto, Benfica and Sporting. LaLiga EA SPORTS is already live, and the J.League’s new season has been added as well.
There are five card tiers: Common, which is unlimited; Limited, one of 1,000; Rare, one of 100; Super Rare, one of 10; and Unique, of which only one exists. By Sorare’s count, the platform holds more than 300 licensed clubs and leagues and more than 5 million registered users.
In 2025, much of the platform’s infrastructure shifted to Solana, with cards bridged over from StarkEx using the compressed NFT standard.
Five seasons in
The Monaco-Sorare relationship began in 2021. Friday, Aug. 26, 2022 saw the first Monaco cards go live for a new season, and the agreement between the two now extends through 2027.
In the UK, users must clear enhanced identity verification and be 18 or over. As of March, a UK Gambling Commission case against Sorare was still open.
Commenting on the extension, Sorare CEO Nicolas Julia called Monaco “an iconic club that shares our vision of innovation and closeness to the fans.”
