Demon Meliodas swap goes live at MARBLEX as Seven Deadly Sins NFT Adventure shifts to staking

demon meliodas swap goes live at marblex as seven deadly sins nft adventure shifts to staking In Brief:

In Brief:

  • Seven Deadly Sins NFT Adventure players can now hand over a Demon Mark plus 140 MBX on MBX NFT to receive a Demon Meliodas NFT, after MARBLEX switched on the swap.
  • At Level 1, Demon Meliodas comes with a lifetime mining allocation of 200 MBX; a paid Level 2 upgrade pushes the cumulative figure to 900 MBX.
  • NFT Adventure Season 2 went live July 30 on Immutable under Kodansha’s Seven Deadly Sins license, and the swap marks its payoff stage.

The Demon Mark swap is now open on MBX NFT, giving anyone who cleared the Seven Deadly Sins NFT Adventure the option to turn that reward into a Demon Meliodas NFT for 140 MBX.

Anyone who sat out the adventure can still purchase the identical NFT for 180 MBX. In other words, finishing the campaign buys a 40 MBX discount — and that is the extent of the advantage.

Supply for the Demon Meliodas collection tops out at 1,000 pieces. According to MARBLEX, roughly 200 were still unclaimed not long after the pool went live.

What the staking actually pays

Across the whole season, Demon Meliodas is the sole NFT capable of mining MBX. Placed into MARBLEX’s staking service, a Level 1 unit holds a lifetime allocation of 200 MBX and ceases to earn the moment that allocation runs dry.

Once drained, the NFT sits at 100% experience and qualifies for the Level 2 upgrade, lifting the cumulative ceiling to 900 MBX. That upgrade is not free.

What APR determines is pace rather than total. The base rate at MARBLEX sits at 100% — worked out as reward by level multiplied by base APR — and holders can compress the payout window by staking extra MBX alongside the NFT. None of that boosted MBX is consumed, and it can be pulled back out whenever the holder wants.

“Demon Mark + 140 MBX = Demon Meliodas! Stake it to grab a total of 900 MBX with a massive 3x higher APR!” MARBLEX said in a post announcing the swap.

How the Demon Mark is earned

Two connected collections underpin the season. The character NFTs used inside NFT Adventure live in MBX 7DS Adventure; they clear stages and drop three ingredients, which combine into a Demon Mark.

A character NFT can clear stages only once. These are consumable progression items rather than tradeable yield assets, and the Demon Mark serves as the sole bridge from the first collection to the second.

Both collections trade on the secondary market through Immutable’s TokenTrove. Linking to MBX NFT via an Immutable Passport wallet incurs no gas fees.

Background

“The Seven Deadly Sins: Revival of the Commandments NFT” arrived on July 30 at 14:00 UTC+9 as MARBLEX’s second NFT Adventure season — and the first the company has built on IP licensed from Japanese publisher Kodansha.

To mark the launch, 20,000 experiential NFTs were handed out for free. Extra rewards went to the first 4,000 users who finished every mission, and MARBLEX paired the campaign with linked airdrops.

NFT Adventure is an experiential format of MARBLEX’s own design, where users pick up character NFTs drawn from a licensed universe and use them to complete missions. Of everything run through that format so far, the Seven Deadly Sins season is the biggest IP.

Worldwide manga sales have surpassed 55 million copies. Netmarble’s mobile RPG “The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross” has crossed 70 million downloads globally, while “The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin” reached the top of PlayStation Store free-to-play charts in the United States, Canada, Europe and Asia.

“The Seven Deadly Sins is a globally beloved franchise with an incredibly passionate fan community, making it an ideal partner for expanding the NFT Adventure ecosystem,” said Jin Pyo Hong, CEO of MARBLEX.
