RavenQuest unveils New Wilds update

Version 1.3.2, New Wilds, is now live in RavenQuest, widening the game world with 13 additional hunting areas. Released on September 1, 2026, the patch seeds roughly 4,200 new creatures across zones tuned for levels 90 through 98.

New creature locations

The lion’s share of the new content lands in Ostera, where five locations arrive with Direhorn Drakes and Stonelings tucked beneath Tremoring Hills. Butchers Point becomes home to Saltdusks, and Molebears make their first appearance at Stonebound Burrow. Zones holding Stone and Leaf Naturalists span levels 83 to 85 as well as 93 to 95.

Three locations open up in Glaceforde: Frostclaw Cliff with Yetis, Snowdeep Mines with Iceforged Dwarves, and Deadbane Halls with lower-level Dwarves. Over in Elder Coast, Draconic Elves appear at Crowfell and Dwarves at the recently unsealed Thormarok Mountain.

Other spots worth noting are Yornish at Yorn’omaala in the Frost Steppes and Saltdusks at Saltdusk Keep in Rohna Woods. Three auras also join the roster: Spellweave, Dreadmist, and Emberborn.

Disconnect Protection feature

One long-standing player pain point — dropping offline mid-fight when the stakes are highest — gets a direct answer here. With Disconnect Protection, a character becomes untargetable and immune to damage for as long as 45 seconds following a disconnect, then gets an eight-second grace window once they log back in.

Players hauling tradepacks get a longer window still, five minutes, provided they are in Safe or Peace Zones. The protection does not apply during PvP combat or similar high-risk situations, and repeated disconnects inside defined time windows will limit how often it can trigger, closing off abuse.

Onboarding and quality of life changes

Signing up has been trimmed to a single step thanks to Google Sign-In. A Player Inspection tool, a familiar staple across MMOs, lets players check another character’s gear and stats.

The world map has also been upgraded, notably with dedicated navigation buttons for areas spanning multiple levels. On the balance side, PvP damage reduction climbs from 50 percent to 60 percent, and Ring Warforging Scrolls are now twice as effective.

RavenQuest overview

Built on Immutable zkEVM and playable straight from a browser, RavenQuest is a free-to-play MMORPG. It previously carried the name Ravendawn Eternal, and it sticks to classic MMO systems while pushing players into the open world through tradepacks and PvP.

Momentum has been building for the title, which took tenth place in the 2025 Game of the Year awards and fifth for Most Anticipated Game in 2024. It currently sits at number 148 with a score of 440, a gain of 12.53 percent.

Now that New Wilds has gone live, the newly unsealed Thormarok Mountain gives players fresh ground to explore in the growing world.
