In Brief:
- The Sandbox SAND $0.06476 ▼ -6.9% (official site) announced on Oct. 16 that “The Corporate Glitch,” an office-themed title from creator @the_bit_fox, earned second place in its most recent game jam.
- The game was built with The Sandbox Studio, and anyone can play it in a browser via the Studio’s play portal.
- This is the second time bit_fox has been recognized in a Studio jam, following a special category award for “Overgrown Royale” in the Beta Creators Game Jam.
Creator @the_bit_fox’s “The Corporate Glitch” claimed the runner-up spot in The Sandbox’s latest game jam, according to an Oct. 16 post from the company on X.
“This chaotic game by @the_bit_fox took 2nd place in our latest Game Jam!” The Sandbox wrote. Alongside the announcement, the company shared a video of the team’s reaction and directed players to the game on The Sandbox Studio.

The post didn’t say which jam it was or how much the second-place finish paid.
Office chaos
The game’s listing on The Sandbox site casts the player as a faceless corporate drone permanently welded to an office chair. To win, players have to make it through three fiscal years and defeat the boss who shows up at the end of every Q4.
The game is live now on the Studio’s web portal. “Check out the team’s reaction and dive into some office chaos,” The Sandbox said.
On The Sandbox homepage, “The Corporate Glitch” sits in a row of playable Studio games labeled “Halloween Game Jam Winners.” Also in that row are “Cat-astrophic Pest Control,” “Stretch A YouTuber,” “YEET!,” “Circuits,” “Meowmentum,” “Almost There” and “STACKED WTF!”
That label doesn’t line up with the Halloween jam’s published timeline, though. The jam ran from Oct. 1 to Oct. 16, and its winners aren’t scheduled to be revealed until Oct. 30.
A busy jam calendar
Since this summer, The Sandbox has hosted a run of jams for Studio creators. It started with the first AI Game Jam, which was open to Alpha Creators, carried a $5,000 prize pool and ran until July 31.
Next up was the Beta Creators Game Jam, themed “Overgrown,” with a $7,500 prize pool and a Sept. 11 submission deadline. The judging panel was led by Larry Hryb, better known as Major Nelson.
That cycle already brought bit_fox one placement. “Overgrown Royale,” a party arena game where one player faces up to seven bot Sprouts, or two friends share one keyboard, picked up the Beta jam’s “Hardest to Put Down” special award. The Beta jam gave out six special category awards, each worth $400.
The Beta jam’s top spot went to “Omniscient” by @lifemademe. @LeeOccleshaw’s “Farmadillo” came second, and @RicardoDeZoete’s “TERRA RIFT” took third.
In September, The Sandbox unveiled the WTF? Jam, which asked for mobile-first games centered on surprising mechanics, internet culture and memes. Creators had five days to build, competing for $4,000 in prizes, including a social ads budget for the winning game.
October brought the Halloween Game Jam and its $6,400 pool. The first-place game earns $2,000 plus $1,000 in ads to promote it, while second gets $1,500 and third gets $1,000. There are also $300 special prizes for Best Scare, Creepiest Character, Best Progression Loop and Best Opening.
Built in Studio
All of these jams use The Sandbox Studio, the company’s AI-assisted creation tool, which The Sandbox promotes as a way to go “From idea to live game in hours.”
For now, access remains restricted. Under the beta program, handpicked creators get early access to the tool, plus game jams, AI token grants and paid creator opportunities, ahead of Studio’s opening to everyone.
The Sandbox also held a Content Creator Bounty ahead of the public launch, with a $5,000 pool paid in SAND. Running through Sept. 30, it rewarded creators who posted real mobile gameplay or showed how they build in Studio.
As for Q4, “The Corporate Glitch” hands players a boss to take down.
