RollerCoin (official site) has launched the Hamster Gym, a training space where Hamsters pick up permanent XP, gain levels and get better stats. The Gym is located in The Grand Building and connects directly to Expeditions, since stronger Hamsters are in a better position to come back with better rewards. It also lets Hamsters go beyond the usual level cap and charge up their Ultimate Abilities.
What the Gym is for
The Gym exists for training. Every session hands a Hamster permanent XP, and each level gained lifts its stats. Those stats count on Expeditions, where higher numbers can lead to better rewards, so the Gym is part of long-term progression. Fresh Hamsters you’re still developing can use it, and so can seasoned ones.
To get there, hit the GYM button in the Expeditions section of the main menu, or open it from within Expeditions.

Running a training session
A Gym Room contains four Gym Slots. Slot one is free, and the remaining three cost RLT to unlock. Each slot fits a single training machine, and a machine can only hold one Hamster at a time.
- Select an empty slot and place a machine in it from your Equipment Inventory.
- Pick an available Hamster from your collection.
- Review the training duration, expected XP reward, Durability consumption and any extra benefits from the Equipment before you confirm.
- Click Start Training, then decide whether to bring in a Trainer for extra XP.
- Once the timer reaches zero, return to the Gym and click Claim.

Think before you commit. A training Hamster can’t join Expeditions or take on any other activity until the session ends, and a session can’t be canceled after it starts. Training on your own carries no extra charge. Adding an unlocked Trainer’s bonus means paying a participation cost.
Until you claim the completed session, the Hamster stays occupied. Claiming gives it the XP, takes it off the machine and puts it into the standard Rest state, just as a successful Expedition does. If you leave a session unclaimed, that Hamster can’t start anything else.

The four machines
The Gym offers four training machines: Pilates, Soccer, Treadmill and Treadmill Premium. All of them grant XP toward stronger stats, and each has its own training duration, XP reward and Durability requirements. Those figures are listed in the Equipment details inside the Gym, so you can line up a workout with your plans.
Pilates, Soccer and Treadmill cover regular training. Treadmill Premium grants Ultimate Charge alongside XP, filling the Ultimate Ability of eligible Hamsters, which makes it the one to use for Hamsters that have Ultimates. It fits in a regular Gym Slot, so there’s no separate Premium Slot to unlock.
Each machine tops out at 12 Durability segments. Short sessions work well for players who log in frequently, and longer ones are simpler to fit around other activities.
Trainers
Trainers are optional and increase the XP a Hamster gains while training. You unlock and upgrade them in the Trainer Area, which has 10 levels and XP Bonuses of up to +150%.
The size of the bonus comes down to the Trainer’s current level. Using one adds a cost calculated from the training duration and the Trainer’s hourly rate. The total participation cost and the expected XP both appear before you begin, so you can judge whether the spend makes sense.
A single Trainer can back multiple Hamsters training at the same time in one Gym Room, but every session needs its own participation payment. You’re allowed to upgrade a Trainer while sessions are running, though the new level only affects workouts that start after the upgrade. Sessions in progress hold onto the bonus they started with.
Durability and repairs
Durability on every machine is limited and appears as a segmented bar. A fixed amount is deducted when each workout begins. A machine without enough Durability left has to be repaired before it can be used again.
Repairing takes Repair Items, and each one restores a single Durability segment. Several can go into one repair, as long as the total stays within the machine’s maximum. Fully broken and partly damaged machines can both be fixed, except those in the middle of a session or holding rewards that haven’t been claimed. Depending on availability, Repair Items may come from various game activities, events and rewards. Check Durability before starting a workout so your training plan doesn’t stall.
Going beyond Level 50
In the standard system, Expeditions take Hamsters as far as Level 50. Training in the Gym raises the ceiling to Level 100, and stats keep improving on the way up. Hamsters that had already maxed out now have a fresh target, and they get stronger for Expeditions too.
Any XP from a session beyond what the next level requires rolls over toward further progression.
Equipment and future plans
Additional Gym Equipment is planned to arrive through familiar game activities. Any machine you haven’t installed is kept in your Equipment Inventory for later. Available Equipment can be swapped or moved between slots, but machines that are in use or awaiting a claim must finish their sessions first.
New Equipment, extra Gym Rooms and more training options may arrive in future updates.
