In Brief:
- SOREDI Games put out Outer Ring MMO Beta 0.1.2 on Nov. 4, 2026, and announced it in a thread on the game’s official X account.
- The build brings new missions and bosses, desert PvP in which dropped loot can be stolen, new abilities, a Weapon Ability System and Equipment Storage Chests.
- This is the first version after Beta 0.1.0, which the studio had listed as live. It delivers the features the team previewed a few days earlier without giving a date.
Beta 0.1.2 of Outer Ring GQ $0.00000485 ▲ +0.1% MMO is now out. SOREDI Games announced it on X at 4:59 p.m. UTC on Nov. 4, starting the thread with “OUTER RING | BETA 0.1.2 IS HERE!” and “A NEW ERA OF SURVIVAL BEGINS!”
The biggest addition is desert PvP. When you kill another player, you can now pick up whatever they drop.
“Take down your enemies, steal their dropped loot, and watch your back,” the studio said in the thread. “One wrong move, and everything you’re carrying could belong to someone else!”
Storage chests and new combat systems
The same build adds Equipment Storage Chests, so players have a place to put gear where the new loot rules can’t reach it.
“Surviving is only half the battle. Keeping what you’ve earned matters too!” the studio said. “With Equipment Storage Chests, you have a place to store your valuable gear.”
The thread left two questions open: whether tokenized items can be lost to loot stealing, and how the chests interact with player wallets.
For combat, the patch adds new abilities and what the studio describes as a new Weapon Ability System. According to the thread, both “bring more possibilities to combat,” and players were told to “Experiment with your skills, adapt your strategy, and find your fighting style.”
Missions and bosses
Fanet now has new missions. “There’s more to do on Fanet!” the studio said, and added that players can “Take on new missions, face dangerous challenges, and put your survival skills to the test.”
The update also adds new bosses, but the thread didn’t name them or give their locations or drop tables. It also had no link to full patch notes.
In its last post, the thread named the five playable races (Earthlings, Mechs, Oracles, Va’ans and Scavengons) and linked to the free download on the Spanish-language download page of the official site.
From preview to release
All six features had already appeared in an earlier X post from the studio: “Extreme Desert PvP,” “Loot Stealing,” “New Bosses,” “New Mission System,” “New Abilities & Weapon Skills” and “Equipment Storage Chests.” That post gave no date. It said only that “the next chapter of #OuterRingMMO is taking shape!”
In a separate message, the team said a coming patch would deliver “fixes for your gear, trading and matches, alongside new tournament features.” The 0.1.2 thread says nothing about those fixes or the tournament tools, so it’s unclear whether they’re part of this build.
Until this release, the official site showed Beta 0.1.0 as the live version, free to play on Windows 10 and later.
Background
Outer Ring is made by SOREDI Games, an indie studio from Mexico, on Unreal Engine 5, and it belongs to the studio’s Blink Galaxy ecosystem. Players choose one of five races competing for control of the Outer Ring. The game has PvE content and PvP modes including battle royale, arenas and dungeons.
The beta went live Aug. 24 with a new Temple zone. The studio described its Sept. 30 release as “the biggest update of the season.” On Sept. 28, the game’s Spanish-language account posted that the version would add new inventory and bags, a Galaxy Pass, species abilities and medkits.
$BG is the game’s governance token. Gameplay runs on SKALE and liquidity sits on Base. The in-game currencies are Exocredits (EXO) and Galactic Quadrants (GQ). GQ converts to BG at five GQ per BG, and that rate is adjusted every month. Holders who have converted are in a vesting period running from July through December 2026.
According to the Spanish-language account, version 1.0.0 launches July 28, 2027.
The thread ended by asking players: “Will you dominate the battlefield or become someone else’s loot”
