Chapter 15: The Ascension Age went live in Sunflower Land on Aug. 3, bringing a 60-tier reward track that demands 60,000 chapter points from players before the Nov. 2 shutdown.

Bundled into the chapter are 31 exclusive NFTs, and the opening stretch has pulled in more than 40,000 players. Ronin Network pushed the Swamp Islands debut out to its own following.

What ascension actually does

The marquee system carries players past Volcano Island. Ascension Shards now drive skill progression, and the Swamp biome arrives as the next island tier in the chapter.

Shards don’t come free. A developer explained in the project’s public repo discussion that they work much like sunstone, only rarer — they must be mined and disappear once used. Anyone already maxed out on Volcano collects their missed shards upon ascending the island to Swamp and upgrading the expansion.

The Dumbo Octopus joins the roster of new wildlife. Cosmic items show up in the mega store, where Stella trades limited-time rewards for chapter tickets across Basic, Rare, Epic and Mega tiers.

The points math

Rather than isolating them in a separate mode, the game sources chapter points from its routine loops: NPC deliveries, weekly tasks and weekly bounties.

The strongest rate belongs to deliveries, at five points for every ticket in an NPC’s reward. Bounties hand back three points per ticket, with animal bounties paying that same three when animals are sold. Weekly chores trail at a single point per ticket. Double Delivery Day doubles the payout, and anything that boosts ticket counts boosts chore payouts alongside them.

“So for the next 3 months, we’re grinding 60,000 Chapter Points across 60 rewards,” said Clivv, a content creator who covers the game.

One snag stands out. Crossing a rank threshold triggers no notification, leaving players to track progress toward the next tier by hand in the chapter dashboard — reachable via the green journal icon next to the bumpkin portrait.

Feathers and the leaderboard

Shiny Feathers are the payout for deliveries and challenges. The currency serves double duty: it powers the Shiny Feather Leaderboard, which ranks the top performers, and the tiered rewards track filled with currency, chests and premium content.

Layered above all that are recurring events. Around eight weeks into a chapter, the Auction House opens with limited items for sale. A Bud NFT goes up in a raffle, while scavenger hunts task players with tracking down mutant characters.

Once the chapter wraps, chapter points turn tradable, giving them worth beyond the event itself. The chapter content is another story — like previous chapters, it’s permanently deleted on Nov. 2.

Chains and tokens

Ronin arrived as an extra chain option rather than a migration, accompanied at the time by an airdrop of 50,000 Ronin NFTs. Katana hosts trading for FLOWER, the game’s fixed-supply ERC-20. Roughly 20% of active users are on Ronin.

April 2025 marked FLOWER’s launch on Base, where it swapped in for SFL 1:1 as the main in-game currency without costing players any progress. According to the team, it took no allocation of its own, so the supply is entirely community-held — a break from SFL’s unlimited supply.

The game also appears in the Immutable Play catalog, with quests paying out gems, keys and entries into a weekly IMX draw. Draw rewards left unclaimed expire after 30 days.

Yakkamon

FLOWER is spreading across Thought Farm’s wider portfolio. Yakkamon — a creature collector blended with idle farming — hits early access on Ronin in Q4 2026 and will run on FLOWER rather than minting a token of its own. Pre-launch deposits are taken in FLOWER on either Ronin or Base.

Access to the earliest testing waves is determined by a Season 0 pre-registration campaign, which costs nothing and asks only for an email address to begin with.

The ascension track hasn’t won everyone over. Players in the repo discussion pointed out that expansions 26 through 30 call for 150 Obsidian altogether, which weekly market limits stretch to seven months at minimum — a timeline that could leave some farmers parked on the old island waiting for market resets rather than ever setting foot on Swamp or Spooky.
