Mattle Run Season 17 kicks off
With Season 17 of Mattle Run now live, Mattle Fun has wiped its leaderboard clean and started a fresh competitive window. Play continues until September 20, 2026, with 500,000 MATTLE and 100,000 SKR on the line.
The headline change is the comeback of SKR, Solana Mobile's token. Bringing it back links Mattle Run once more to the Seeker reward ecosystem, sitting alongside MATTLE.
How to participate
Entry requires following the project on X, and registration happens through the app at app.mattle.fun. Three activities generate points: finishing quests, buying items in-game, and inviting friends. Spreading scoring across those channels creates a broader matrix and reduces the edge held by players who simply grind the most hours.
Once a season closes, where players land on the leaderboard decides how much of the token pools they receive. Resetting every month keeps standings from going stale and guarantees a fresh race each season.
Background on Mattle Fun
Mattle Fun’s goal is to strengthen the GameFi ecosystem on Solana. Its flagship release, Mattle Run, is a pixel-art survival title in which players hold off waves of enemies to bank points that convert into rewards.
Where Mattle Run differs from its peers is in mechanics that tie what happens in-game to real trading activity on Solana. Trades routed through the Jupiter-powered portal feed a player’s in-game energy and boosts, forging an unusual link between market participation and combat performance.
MATTLE has several roles in the game, paying for energy refills and character upgrades while also cutting fees for traders. The token has a maximum supply of 50 million, a total supply of 44.35 million, and roughly 17.49 million in circulation, spread across about 5,090 holders.
Connection with SKR and Seeker
SKR is used for staking to Guardians and for governance voting in the Solana dApp Store. By plugging into the Seeker platform, Mattle Fun puts itself in front of users who are already active in the Solana world.
To date, Solana Mobile has shipped more than 200,000 Seeker units, handled over $5 billion in on-chain volume, and hosts upwards of 500 dApps since the Solana Mobile Stack went live.
Sticking to a monthly season cadence signals how seriously Mattle Fun takes ongoing community engagement, and Season 17 is now well under way.
