Last season on Abstract

The team described Season 2 as “the final Delabs Play season on @AbstractChain.” It added: “More seasons are on the way. Details soon.”

That lines up with what GIGACHADBAT announced earlier this month: the game is leaving Abstract once Season 2 wraps. At the time, the team said the game was not shutting down and that it would reveal its new platform later.

Neither announcement named the destination chain or gave a timeline for the move. Both also left open what happens to $CHAD, which launched on Abstract, after the transition.

Premium Mode and $CHAD utility

Premium score is earned in GIGACHADBAT’s Premium Mode, where players spend pBalls and use score multipliers. A successful hit triggers a Boost Card draw, which can shield a player’s score or raise their rewards.

In September, the game began accepting $CHAD for Premium Balls and gave $CHAD stakers larger score boosters in Premium Mode. Staking comes with no lock-in or cooldown, so players can stake and unstake at any time.

The $CHAD token went live Feb. 13, 2026, following a presale on the YGG Play Launchpad that ran Feb. 4-6. Its supply is capped at 5,000,000,000 tokens, and it debuted at a fully diluted valuation of $500,000. YGG Play and Delabs have said the token will remain DEX-only, with no plans for centralized exchange listings. The team has also urged buyers to keep their transactions small, describing $CHAD as a low-cap token that’s sensitive to the market.

Life after YGG Play

Since Yield Guild Games shut down YGG Play, Delabs Play has been in charge of routing GIGACHADBAT’s rewards. YGG announced the closure on July 6 and gave itself until Aug. 1 to wind down operations. The shutdown cost 35 jobs.

Across its lifetime, YGG Play brought in $9.6 million in revenue, including $541,000 from three titles in the second quarter of 2026.

“A heavy decision, but it is a market decision, not a product decision,” said YGG co-founder Gabby Dizon.

Following the handover, GIGACHADBAT reset premium point balances. Points earned before the Aug. 1 snapshot are being airdropped as $YGG YGG $0.02651 ▲ +1.8%, while newly earned points can be redeemed on Delabs Play.

Background

Delabs Games serves as the web3 arm of South Korea’s 4:33 Creative Lab. The studio is co-led by James Joonmo Kwon and JC Kim, and its backers include Hashed, Spartan Group, TON Ventures and Yield Guild Games.

Through Delabs Play, the studio runs seasonal reward campaigns across its titles, among them GIGACHADBAT, Boxing Star X and Ragnarok Libre. The opening season, known as the Grand Season, offered $1,000 in $CHAD.

GIGACHADBAT launched in July 2024 as a tap-to-earn Telegram Mini App on TON. On Sept. 18, 2025, it moved to Abstract with YGG Play as its publisher, letting players redeem points for YGG tokens and Abstract XP.

The team kept its goodbye to Abstract short: “After Delabs Play Season 2 ends, the journey on Abstract comes to an end, but @GIGACHADBAT is not over.”
