MIR4 (official site) goes down for maintenance on Tuesday, October 27th, and comes back with a Halloween-themed batch of events. The update also adds a Mythic Spirit named Nine-tailed Fox Weola and a limited-time NPC shop, and it changes how long the Boosting World server buffs last as characters level up.
Events and the Lamper shop
The update switches on three events:
- Phantom Night 14-Day Check-in
- Ghost Candy Exchange Shop
- Legendary Spirit Treasure Challenge Event
Eleven new Special Price Products, sold under the “Spooky and Chilly Festival” banner, are available from the October 27, 2026 update through the November 11, 2026 update. The lineup has selection boxes for Magic Stone and Magic Stone II, Legendary Divine Dragon’s Enhancement Stones, Fissured Portal Tickets, Treasure Shards and Legendary Promotion Material. Each purchase also hands out Spooky Lantern items.
You spend the lanterns at Lamper, a new NPC standing in the major cities of every region. Lamper’s shop runs from the October 27, 2026 update until November 23 at 23:59 (UTC+8). When it closes, the game automatically deletes any Spooky Lanterns still in your inventory, so use them up before the deadline.
At the top of the price list is the Legendary Dragon Material Selection Box, which costs 45 lanterns and is limited to one per character. The TE I +8 and TE II +8 Selection Boxes are 20 lanterns apiece, with the same one-per-character limit. A group of Legendary items sells for 10 lanterns: the Divine Dragon’s Mystery Selection Box (limit two), the Divine Dragon’s Enhancement Stone, the Dragon Artifact Enhancement Stone and the Magic Stone II Selection Box. For 2 lanterns you can pick up Epic Dragon Breath, Pledge Scroll of Yearning, Epic Dragonsteel Box, Spacetime Powder and Mystic Ancient Treasure Enhancement Stones with no purchase limit, along with a 100-ticket Summon Ticket Selection Box that caps out at 20 purchases.
Boosting World buff changes
The exclusive buffs on the Boosting World server get an extra tier covering Lv. 170 to 175. From Lv. 176 onward they no longer apply. After the update, the scale looks like this:
- Lv. 1 to 149: Hunting EXP +1,000%, Drop Chance +100%, Lucky Drop Chance +100%
- Lv. 150 to 159: Hunting EXP +500%, Drop Chance +100%, Lucky Drop Chance +100%
- Lv. 160 to 169: Hunting EXP +200%, Drop Chance +100%, Lucky Drop Chance +100%
- Lv. 170 to 175: Hunting EXP +100%, Drop Chance +100%, Lucky Drop Chance +100%
- Lv. 176 and up: no Boosting World buff
Characters above the buff cap can still join the server’s exclusive events and buy its product deals. New milestones at Lv. 167, 172 and 177 arrive in the Boosting World Level Reward Event, and each one pays a Legendary Dragon Material Box plus 1,000 Summon Ticket Selection Boxes. The Power Score Reward Event adds tiers at 650,000 and 700,000. Both tiers give a Legendary Dragon Material Box, a Legendary Divine Dragon’s Enhancement Stone and five Entry Ticket Selection Boxes. On top of that, the 650,000 tier includes a Legendary Skill Tome Summon Box and the 700,000 tier a Legendary Spirit Stone Summon Box.
Nine-tailed Fox Weola
Weola is a Mythic grade Forest Spirit with an own effect of CRIT 120. Players get it through Invoke at NPC Diviner Octy in Arcadia Spirit Village. Most of its skills revolve around critical hits:
- Fox’s Vitae: Max HP +4,000, Max MP +1900, CRIT ATK DMG +50%, Basic ATK DMG +50%.
- Fluffy Tail: Bash ATK DMG +50%, Accuracy +200, Bash DMG Taken -50%, Skill DMG Taken -30%.
- Swaying Steps: All ATK DMG +16%, Stun Success Chance +50%, Skill MP Cost -20%.
- Demonic Power Explosion: landing a CRIT attack grants a Fox Bead and +5 CRIT for 20 sec (1 sec cooldown). Once 9 stacks build up, the beads are used up for +100 CRIT and +30% CRIT ATK DMG lasting 15 sec (50 sec cooldown).
- Bewitching Gaze: each attack has a 10% chance to lower nearby enemies’ CRIT EVA by 200 and their CRIT ATK DMG by 20% for 10 sec (50 sec cooldown).
- [Party Leader] Nine-tailed Afterimage: on taking a hit, party members receive +200 CRIT EVA and take 35% less Skill DMG for 15 sec (60 sec cooldown).
Unless you lead the party, the party skill applies only to your own character. Party leaders also extend the effect to members within range.
Crafting, summons and fixes
A new recipe at Dampyo converts a Pumpkin Head Exchange Ticket and 20,000 Copper into 50 Epic Blue Dragon Statues. The Scripture Hall Skill Tome summon event is wrapping up, and the Divine Dragon’s Promise Points it awarded expire along with it instead of carrying over.
On the bug side, the patch adds the missing description of the Concussion effect to the Spirit Summoner’s Spirit Step skill, fixes strange-looking neck graphics on some classes wearing the Mesmerizing Nine-tailed Fox Outfit, and resolves a crash where the game would sometimes shut down after showing a “synchronization error” message. The Lucky Cat Luckster’s Legendary Herbalist Hong Box now goes by Legendary Herbalist Hong Medicine Box, and a number of typos have been fixed.
