Debellum beta goes live on Android first, with iOS and desktop still to come

debellum beta goes live on android first with ios and desktop still to come In Brief:

In Brief:

  • In a post on X, the studio behind Debellum (official site) said its beta opened on Android at 08:00 UTC.
  • Matches drop 10 players into the arena, and only one walks away the winner. The iOS and desktop versions carry a “coming soon” label.
  • This follows a mobile closed beta that started May 18, 2026, on iOS and Android, which was open only to selected testers.

Android players can now get into the Debellum beta.

The team posted the news on X and listed the start time across several time zones: 08:00 UTC, 16:00 SGT, 15:00 ICT, 09:00 CET and 03:00 ET. There’s no date yet for iOS or desktop, and the post lists both as “coming soon.”

The wait is over.

One platform to start

Only Android is covered this time. The closed test that began in May was set up differently: selected testers received iOS builds via TestFlight, while Android builds went out through a special Google Play Store link.

That May build was the first playable version of Debellum to leave internal development. Testers needed specific access instructions to get in, and anyone without them had to hold out for a later test round or the full release.

The latest post gives no word on whether the Android beta keeps those access limits. It says nothing about a waitlist or invites, and rewards don’t come up either.

Ten players per match

The studio summed up the format in a single line: ten players, one winner.

Debellum is a free-to-play arena brawler and battle royale running on MegaETH, an Ethereum Layer 2 that calls itself a real-time blockchain able to handle more than 100,000 transactions per second. Fights take place in small top-down arenas, with players controlling chibi low-poly characters and using cover and obstacles to survive. Whoever is left standing at the end wins.

The mobile controls put movement on the left of the screen and combat abilities on the right. Both solo battle royale and team fights are supported.

Betting from the sidelines

The spectator system is the game’s main draw. People watching a live match can back specific players while it’s still in progress, so the social side of the game feeds straight into its economy.

In the closed beta build, players had several maps with different battle settings to choose from. That build also included an in-game currency, a sign that rewards could be tied to match performance. How that economy will work in the current beta is something the studio hasn’t spelled out.

Running on MegaETH

Debellum has been billed as available on iOS, Android and the web. For this beta, Android goes first and the other platforms are still waiting.

The post signed off as briefly as it began: “Ten players. One winner. See you in the arena.”
