In Brief:
- Evolved parts have gone live in Terrariums, lifting an axie’s Atia’s Flame and its cut of the bAXS pool.
- How rare a part is shapes its Flame points, and specific pairings deliver bigger evolution payouts.
- Because evolved parts churn out more Fortune Slips for axies, players can grow their Slip totals too.
Evolved parts enhance game mechanics
Evolved parts are now up and running inside Axie Infinity‘s Terrariums, handing players fresh avenues to grow their rewards. Evolving an axie’s parts pushes up its Atia’s Flame value, which in turn hands the player a bigger slice of the bAXS pool.
Two factors set the effective Flame value: the rarity of each evolved part and how many parts a single axie has evolved. Scarcer combinations — for instance, a Shiny axie carrying an evolved Shiny part — produce more Flame than ordinary parts do. The design nudges players toward concentrating their evolution on a smaller number of axies to squeeze out the most value.
Since evolving parts stacks up rewards, there’s a stronger reason to specialize. Evolving a single part carries a 1.0 multiplier, whereas taking six parts up to evolved status pushes that figure to 1.68. That climbing scale rewards players who map out their evolution strategy to build Flame more efficiently.
Fortune Slips should climb as well, since evolving collectible parts adds to those rewards on top of everything else. Leveling up through evolution calls for AXP, which players accumulate by playing or by tapping resources such as Cocochoco.
The team says more upgrades are on the way over the next few weeks as the system matures, opening up additional routes to strengthen axies.
“Start evolving now, and your land will be ready when the rest arrives,” a spokesperson indicated.
