Atari is Not Associated Anymore With… Atari Token

Atari made a shocking announcement yesterday, April 18th, stating that they terminated their partnership with ICICB Group, meaning that the gaming company is no longer associated with Atari tokens.

This caused a worldwide surprise as investors saw the token’s price decrease rapidly, currently at $0.01. Atari reassured ATRI token holders that a snapshot was taken on Monday afternoon, and a new token release is set for a later date.

“Create, distribute and solely manage a new proprietary token with a focus on gaming, community, and utility.”┬áThese were the words Atari told the existing shareholders.

Apparently Atari plans to develop a new token, although is yet unclear what will happen with the existing since it’s its now… unlicensed.
