Binance has announced the launch of an AI-powered NFT generator called ‘Bixel’ to make personalized digital art creation easier and enhance user authenticity.
This isn’t Binance’s first foray into AI-based NFT generators. Earlier this year, the company launched a similar tool named Bicasso, which reached maximum capacity within 2.5 hours of its release. However, it soon faced criticisms related to its similarity to the winners of the BNB Chain’s hackathon, Chatcasso, which took place just two weeks prior. In response to this backlash, Binance went back to the drawing board, culminating in the current, more secure iteration – Bixel.
Unlike its predecessor, Bixel requires users to undergo the platform’s KYC identity validation process before creating digital art pieces. This mandate is in line with Binance’s commitment to provide a secure environment for its users, adhering to industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
