After we saw the successful launch of Farsite P2E Alpha phase 1, the game entered Phase 2 as we speak. The new phase will bring new and important features aiming to improve the game economy as player activity in the ecosystem.
In this new update, there are two new space stations. Each of these space stations has its own local market. Additionally, the update brings in-game markets for trading different assets as well.
Previously, Farsite had a station in the HOM system. This new update brings two more stations available in MEBO and NEXUS, making it the first introduction of the local in-game economies.
Apart from this, Farsite fulfills the promise as the team finally increases the levels of storage capacity across the board. Also, they have increased (5x) the production speed of Components as well.
New Stations and Components Markets
The two extra stations not only make it simpler for the outer worlds to get their goods to market, but they also expand the number of jobs available to anyone willing to shop around and transport things from station to station.
There is another update that is equally as important – the Component market. Now, the players can finally buy the in-game items that are needed for Module and Ship production. Since Modules are in-game assets (NFTs), Farsite hopes to bring them to OpenSea.
Farsite is a blockchain-based space-themed MMO game featuring a complex game economy. The players wander around space to harvest resources using starships. They have sectors where they can build facilities to create parts, components, or starships.
For building different useful stuff, players need to own a base on a planet and credits that they can use to pay for different services.
Create a base on a planet to search for rare materials to make strong ships and modules, engage in open trade, and engage in combat for spoils and glory to rule the entire constellation!
Farsite uses an interesting concept when it comes to NFTs. The game uses Credit-based NFTs or cNFTs. In the game, every Module and Ship is an NFT that is backed by a fixed number of credits. You can burn the NFT (it will be destroyed) to receive those Credits.
