Nestables is a blockchain game running on Enjin that allows you to collect, trade, and breed 3D ‘Cubes’ which exist as non-fungible ERC-1155 tokens.
Recently, the game announced that everyone can play and the founders token is not longer needed while development continues with gameplay features. We will overview some recent developments in the Nestables game in June.
Breeding and Tea
Players will be able to breed their Nestables to create a baby Nestable that will have some of its parents’ traits. The limit for each Nestable for breeding is three times, and you can breed a Nestable with the same partner for these three times.
For successful breeding, you have to make sure that certain conditions are met:
- The happiness level of your Cube should be above 90 for the last 24 hours
- Nest size should accommodate more than one Cube
- Two week period of post-breeding cool down should have passed
- Your Nestable must like the tea
Making different kinds of teas like Green, Black, White, and Herbal tea using the in-game tea station is a new feature in the game. If you want to breed a Nestable, it should like the tea you give to it; otherwise breeding would not be possible. You have to try different ingredients to make teas that impress your Nestables.
Baby Nestables’ personality traits depend on a dice rolling system. The parent Nestables will roll a dice for each trait and whichever of the two parents has a higher number, the baby will take its traits. Another dice will be rolled to determine the strength of these traits. A 1 on the die means a decrease by 1 in the power of a particular trait, 6 means an increase of 1, while 2-5 will not affect.
If both parents have the Productivity Master trait and roll a 6 together, that trait will pass on to the baby.
Interior Customization
You will be able to customize and personalize your interior as per your likings using the building editor. Buildings like Home and Nursery Workshop will have their own separate purposes in the game.
With this update, you can build new rooms, decorate and customize their appearance, and place furniture in them.
There will be a wide range of furniture available, including:
- Country
- Medieval
- A basic default theme (to be used for the tutorials)
- Bohemian
- Modern
