Leading gaming-optimized blockchain, Oasys, held its first special event as a side event at IVS Crypto 2023, announcing a series of major updates for its blockchain gaming ecosystem. The event showcased presentations from 13 prominent gaming and internet companies, such as Ubisoft and Com2uS.
Held at Kyoto’s historic Nijo Castle, Oasys shed light on its upcoming projects and partnerships. The event highlighted the announcement of a new blockchain game, “Summoners War: Chronicles,” developed by Com2uS in collaboration with XPLA. Another significant revelation was Ubisoft’s partnership with Oasys to introduce their first-ever Web3 game, “Champions Tactics: Grimoria Chronicles.”

Additionally, attendees were brought up to speed on the latest developments in the gaming world. The new blockchain game “Battle of Three Kingdoms,” developed by double jump.tokyo under license from SEGA’s IP, “Sangokushi Taisen,” was unveiled, while MIXI emphasized their collaboration with Oasys for content development and social gaming.
Further updates included DMM.com / DM2C Studio’s upcoming release of their first game, “Coin Musume,” and BLOCKSMITH&Co.’s announcement of “QAQA,” a vertical short video app.
Future Plans for Oasys
Beyond the exciting news of games and partnerships, Oasys also detailed plans for a wallet designed specifically for the Oasys blockchain and an NFT project in collaboration with Bandai Namco Research Institute.
