The PULSE Elevate Wireless Speakers finally have a release date from Sony. The set goes on sale November 12, 2026, priced at $219.99.
Buyers won’t have to wait until then to reserve one — pre-orders begin well ahead of launch, on September 1, 2026, at 10:00 AM ET. What’s on offer, however, depends on where you live.

The white ones aren’t for everybody
There are two finishes on the table: Midnight Black and White. The Midnight Black version is the widely available one, stocked by PlayStation’s online store as well as select retailers.
The White model, on the other hand, only ships to certain markets — the US, UK, France, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Italy, Spain and Portugal. Live anywhere else and had your eye on the pale finish? Black is the only option you’ll get.
Bear in mind these speakers were first announced back in late 2025, so what’s arrived here is the missing detail, not a brand-new unveiling.
What’s actually inside them
According to Sony, the hardware serves up lifelike gaming audio alongside clear voice chat, backed by ultra-low latency and lossless wireless technology. Hopping between devices is meant to be painless — a TV, a smartphone, a PC or Mac, and even a PlayStation Portal are all covered.
The box also includes a charging dock. Sony’s line on battery life is “hours of lifelike audio” from a full charge, and that holds up even while you’re carrying the speakers around.
Handling the wireless connection is PlayStation Link, Sony’s in-house technology. A microphone is built in too, with AI-enhanced noise reduction that’s designed to pick out and suppress unwanted background sound — the idea being you can be heard clearly without strapping on a headset.
They’d look right next to the Wolverine PS5
The timing puts this just behind PlayStation’s reveal of its Marvel’s Wolverine lineup, which included a Wolverine-themed DualSense Wireless controller, a PS5 badged as the “Marvel’s Wolverine Battle Yellow Limited Edition,” and matching console covers.
Next to all that, the speakers are a quieter proposition — and they don’t need to be anything else. Sit a Midnight Black pair alongside that yellow console and the shelf genuinely works.
Sleek, futuristic hardware has long been a PlayStation strength, from the PS5 itself to the smooth contours of the DualSense pads. That tasteful thread runs through the whole range, and these speakers stick with it.
Meanwhile, the Fight Stick is stuck
Sony’s hardware roadmap isn’t running smoothly across the board. Unexpected production issues have forced a delay to the FlexStrike PS5 Fight Stick controller.
That one had been penciled in for this month. No new date has been given at all, which is arguably a rougher spot to be in than simply being pushed back.
Set against that, committing to a launch day for the speakers looks like a statement of confidence. Nobody nails down a date this soon after a delay unless they’re reasonably certain it’ll stick.
The choice of November 12 is no coincidence, either. It drops the PULSE Elevate into stores just as holiday spending kicks off — precisely the window Sony has no intention of missing.
