Skrice Studios Kicks Off Alliance Wars Season 1 in Heroes of Mavia

skrice studios kicks off alliance wars season 1 in heroes of mavia 1 In Brief:

In Brief:

  • Skrice Studios has launched Season 1 of Alliance Wars in Heroes of Mavia (official site), the alliance-versus-alliance format the studio publicly teased on Jan. 4.
  • Seasonal and rank-based, the mode revolves around a territory grid plus a hub the game calls “ALLIANCE WARS CENTRAL,” which tracks member counts, total points and rankings from earlier seasons.
  • Season rewards have yet to be spelled out publicly, and the debut arrives after a year in which MAVIA lost another trading venue and now sits roughly 99.7% under its all-time high.

Skrice Studios has flipped the switch on Season 1 of Alliance Wars, opening the ranked stage of the alliance-versus-alliance mode it has been dangling in front of Heroes of Mavia players since the year began.

“WE ARE LIVE! HoM ALLIANCE WARS – SEASON 1 IS ON!” the studio wrote in an X post that pointed to a YouTube trailer. “It’s time to fight side-by-side with your comrades and conquer the battlefield.”

How the format works

Across a season, alliances accumulate points and jockey for standing. UI previews put out earlier in the year show a hub panel listing a leader name, an alliance level and stats such as a member count displayed as 14/25, along with total points and placements from prior seasons.

The preview’s second half is a gridded battle map, placing territory control at the heart of the format. Scoring appears to hinge on zones that are assigned or claimed.

Matchmaking rules and the complete reward table remain unpublished by the studio. Whether MAVIA payouts are attached specifically to Alliance Wars seasons is still unconfirmed. The broader picture is clearer: tournaments and special events can yield MAVIA for players, while holders vote on ecosystem decisions and unlock holder tournaments.

Ruby Battles, already live in Mavia, hints at the house style. Two players hit the same Ghost Base using an identical set of randomly selected units, then compete on stars, total damage and fastest time. Whoever wins collects the Rubies, less a 2% burn fee per match.

A drawn-out wait

Alliance Wars has sat on the roadmap since early 2025, packaged into a Q4 2025 target that also covered HQ 11, Land Trading, NFT Crafting, Season 4 Level Rewards and the worldwide rollout of Nexira DAEP. That window passed without delivery.

Stamped 3:27 p.m., the Jan. 4 post described Alliance Wars as “being built & released soon” and pitched it as a “unified battleground” where Web2 and Web3 players fight side by side, signing off with the tag #AllianceWars2026.

Even so, the mode isn’t showing up from nowhere. The App Store version history for Heroes of Mavia carries a Feb. 4 entry that reads “[Add] Alliance War is now live!” A separate release note lists “[Add] Tournament feature [Add] Alliance Wars feature [Update] Improved battle visual effects [Update] Improved Ruby display in Marketplace [Fix] Minor bug fixes and optimizations.” Version 3.2.0, dated June 19, recorded “[Fix] Fixed Tournament battle stability issues.”

Esports momentum, shrinking markets

Season 1 comes on the heels of Mavia’s 2026 Global Tournament, whose semifinals took place June 24 and grand finals on July 1. A battle event ran on May 27.

Trading conditions have gone the opposite direction. The MAVIA spot pair was delisted by OrangeX on May 12, a move that automatically cancelled every open order. Deposits were halted in advance of the delisting, while withdrawals remained available through May 31. Coinone had already dropped the token back in February 2025.

MAVIA’s all-time high stands at $10.59, against an all-time low of $0.02388. Current trading sits about 99.7% beneath that peak.

Background

Built by Vietnam-based developer Skrice Studios, Heroes of Mavia is a free-to-play strategy game running on Base. Downloads topped 1 million before the token went live, and the studio inked an esports partnership with Tribe Gaming to drive competitive play.

Nexira, previously known as GameLink, acts as the ecosystem marketplace, designed as a multi-game hub for trading assets across Skrice titles. The Ruby 2.0 migration was carried out as a 1:1 swap around April 18, with 2.160 billion Ruby 2.0 pre-minted across six flagship games inside the Nexira DAEP ecosystem.

On strategy, the team has said it does not “obsess over token price,” citing instead “gameplay depth, meaningful ownership, and long-term fun.”
